1. Bump for by far the best cabs I've ever played through during the past 35+ years!! If there was half a chance of me gigging again & I had the dosh they would be mine! Chris is also a great Guy to deal with - punctual, business like & really 'knows his onions'! Not many cabs I'd recommend without hesitation as I would with these babies - clear as the preverbial bell & with both stacked together, all the bottom end you'll ever need. Good luck with the sale Chris, all the best, Tim
I got these in April this year, and while they are no doubt great cabs they are not for me. I have my eye on some other gear so am offering these for sale. I paid £560 for the pair Inc the covers so would accept this or near offers. Not taken any pics yet but will sort. Suffice to say that to my eyes they are in great condition-the covers have clearly done their job. Cabs are in Nottingham. Don't hesitate to ask questions.
2. Thanks Pete, I can't believe this baby's not gone yet - Tiny, light as a feather, Neo powered, built like the preverbial s**t house & it's brand spanking new!! There's a Guy who is interested who has the 4 x 8 - so it would make an 'uber - rig' like your Nearly Dan one. Thanks again Pete, all the best, Dodger ps - if you ever fancy a blast on me Phil Jones - let me know - Hi-Fi for Fat-Wires or what?? It even makes me sound a bit like Chuck Rainey - if of course you happen to be in the next town, up wind & with yer fingers in yer ears !!
Bump for me good mate Dodger.
3. Did I mention in passing I'd added pics??
Now with pics!
4. PM'd
Black carpet covered, excellent condition, I haven't even gigged it! Something else has caught my eye! Will take £250 and will post immediately!
5. That's great Guys, thankyou very much! All the best, Tim
I can also recommend the DiMarzio P/J set. I used these to upgrade my humble £99 Stagg fretless, mainly because the stock pickups had a very low output. The bass now has considerably more volume and a tone that rivals much more expensive basses. I fitted the pickups myself - instructions were included and it couldn't have been easier
6. Hi Guys, I have a Squier PJ which plays like a dream - but the pickups don't seem to be up to much! Would it be worth changing them & would the benefits justify the cost + angst of fitting them? Also what would you recommend? - I've noticed Kent Armstrong p/ups on that t'ebay at not too high a price - anyone used them? Thanks Guys, ALL help gratefully received. All the best, Tim ps - I like a nice clear old fashioned 'woody' sound - being old fashioned & very 'woody' myself - just like my bass 'playing' !!!

Cash on collection please - I'm 5 minutes from J15 of the M6. Come & have a try if you like?? £75 o.n.o - bargain! - or swap for a small mixer amp?? Ta!
 9. Brand new Ashdown Classic Klystron Mini 1 x 15 350w Neo 8 ohm bass cab. The smallest, lightest & loudest cab I have ever tried - How do they do it?? Proudly built in the UK & the build quality is second to none. Two Combined Speakon / 1/4" Jack Sockets. £270 + postage, or collect & try out first - I'm 5 minutes form J15 of the M6. 10. Just to really put 'things where they belong'?? - my original email asking how Steve wanted to be paid & requesting postage costs was sent on Monday 19th at 7.50am!! which if you do the maths, you'll find is a little bit before last 'Friday'????
You said you spoke to him on Friday "and agreed a deal". There are four people who spoke to him before Friday yet your post made it sound like a done deal, which of course is going to piss people off if they'd contacted the seller before you.
11. I sent Steve an email asking for his Paypal details, offering the asking price + postage as requested in an email I received from Steve, which also asked me to say if I didn't want it - as he would then 'move forward in order of enquiry'?? The next email I received from him said that someone had 'got in first'????? My offer is still open & I am ready to send him the asking price + postage - as I was six days ago! Sorry Nik, but given these facts - it is only natural that people will suspect a bit of gazumping had occured!
Hi Folks, As promised, here's the lowdown from Steve: "Nick, The price for the bass is still £400 plus postage and if there wasn't so many people commiting to buy then not following through it would be sorted by now. Cheers....Steve" Nik
12. You've noticed?????!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like there's a bit of gazumping going on with this bass.
13. Wow, Wow & thrice Wow!! I had one of these in the two - tone burst - (albeit with a rosewood board & a torty pickguard) far nicer & more 'vintage' than the three tone - imho. Have a bump for a lovely Bass - these US jobbies are the 'real deal' & I wish I still had mine - bloody GAS!!
BUMP with pics!
14. PM'd
Yup, looks like a bargin to me!!
17. Hi Guys, I have for sale the following; Markbass F1 500w - the smallest, loudest amp ever!! - just back from Markbass in Italy after full service & ungigged since This amp is awesome - but way too loud for home use only & the odd 'pie in the sky' Gig! Would prefer collection - I'm 5 minutes from Junction 15 of the M6 - but could send via Royal Mail 'next day' Special Delivery, fully insured for £21.65? All the best, Tim
 18. Have a bump for a lovely bit of kit! I have one of these & it's bloody fab! Someone grab a bargain - quick! All the best, Tim
PM sent Fran
19. Hi Guys, Don't suppose anyone has an Ashdown Mini 1 x 15 Classic Neo 300w 8ohm Cab they would like to swap for my Ashdown 2 x 10 ABM 500w 8ohm Cab with Ashdown fitted Neo drivers?? Cheers, Tim
 20. Hi Oggy, 'Respect'! - I had a late 60's metalic blue Mustang - with 'go faster stripe'! & sold it for 'thruppence' back in the 70's - double bugger!! The action on this Precision is low & a dream to play. The 'only' reason I'm having to part with it is to pay for my amp repair!! Thanks for the comments All the best, Tim. ps - if you are not a scrillion miles away, you are more than welcome to have a try with no obligation of course?
Great looking bit of kit Tim. Just got my re-furb Mustang back this last weekend, pic's coming on the Porn Section, I'm getting GAS for this though - a Precision that wouldn't swamp me - Oh yes. Good luck with the sale. Oggy
21. Monday Bumpity-Bump !
Bugger.
22. Hi Guys, Here is my 3/4 size? - Shortscale? - 30" Richwood Precision in near mint condition - with a lovely Sunburst finish, a faux Tortoiseshell Pickguard & lovely 'vintage' finished Maple neck with a nice rosewood fingerboard. The sound is a deep & full classic Precision tone - giving my PJ Bass a very serious run for it's money - but the range of tones are excellent & a nice slap sound can be achieved with a twist of the tone control. Would really suit an up & coming Jamerson Fan - however, even I can get around the fingerboard just as well - or should I say badly? - as my full size Bass with my old chubby fingers - so it would be great if space is limited. I have included a photo shown next to my full size Squire - which is NOT included in the sale, of course - to give some perspective. A firm £125.00 + postage please, or you could collect if you were ever passing J15 of the M6 - 5 minutes away? All the best, Tim ps - funds needed for amp repair !
 23. A 'back from Holiday & skint' - Bumpity - bump !
**Price drop to £75 - collected** Or swap for a small-ish 1 x 12, or 1 x 10, or WHY???
24. Hi Guys, Thanks for the tips & support - much appreciated! I'm sort of with LawrenceH on this one - I don't really care what the 'statistics' say, all I know is that 'none' of the numerous amps I've owned over the past 30+ years ever 'failed' & ALL of them had seen a scrillion times more action than the F1 has! Saving up for the repair now & in the mean time rescued my late 70's early 80's?? Roland Bass Cube from the loft to tide me over - used extensively for 15 to 20 years & then stored in the loft for the past 10 years & yes you've guessed it - it fired up 1st time & is singing like a bird released! The crazy thing is that through all the years of gigging - I never carried a spare head (phew)! & one obvious reason for buying an F1 was the portability & size of the unit - which becomes a bit of a nonesense -if I have to also carry a spare head?? Thanks again Guys, I'll keep you posted. All the best, Tim
