2.
If the mods have archived (pre the change to the new interface) PMs between members they are welcome to search back through mine as I'm sure that I had contact with him some years back regarding a deal which never came to fruition; his number may be in those PMs.
Yes me too! Mods feel free to look through mine too - I can't seem to find it in my mails. andy
3. Could you live with yourself if you turned it down? I think not and yes you'd be mad no to do it! andy
4. Right! Going against the grain here! Drums and bass are the most important factors within AC/DC. They allow Angus, Malcolm and Brian to do their stuff. Listen to Phil on drums, although it sounds simple, he plays a lot off the beat and the bass has to match this. It is not an easy job being the bass player for AC/DC because you have to nail it, stay out of the way of Angus, Malcolm and Brian while being absolutely and completely consistent! Do it badly at your peril! Everyone knows AC/DC and demand it be played properly. its just rock n roll mate! andy

6. Did CMI not become Ibanez or the distributor for Ibanez? The old brain is hazy and knackered ... Gosh was that 1976? Man where was I? Probably on a different planet ... Klangers!
7. Hey Karl, Before you completely rule out the Steve Harris bass ... the nut width becomes irrelevant due to the shallow neck - back to front. It is based on a 57 precision so if you get a chance try a Mexican classic 50's pbass, it'll give you an idea if you can play it or not because it is nowhere near the 'baseball bat' proportions of the attitude neck. The 57 is real slim, fast and easy to play. andy
8.
Yup, Yamaha say 150 Purple, 150 Black, both sparkly metallic colours. Reduced to £850 this week only, after that it will be withdrawn (on the Bay until Thurs night at start £900) Karl
This was definitely the limited edition! My recollection is Billy got no. 1. Extremely rare and difficult to get a hold of these days and in my view a real collectors piece. If only I had the cash ... ... ... ... good luck andy
9. Welcome buddy from another homie! Tis a good place here. enjoy andy
10. Hows this going? Bump for an absolute stunner of a bass!
11. ^^ Was thinking that too! Looks almost like a 'lyte' urge?
12. Hard amp to price realistically given the quality of it and the fluctuation in rrp. I saw one for sale yesterday for £1444 and another for £829 - both new. From my experience, I sold a USA 1992 3pro for £250 in reasonable condition and a USA 2007 3pro for £450 in pristine condition. However, I would say £400 to £500 (dependent on condition and tube status) is a fair price for an extremely flexible and great amp. I currently own a new Korean 3pro and a Hartke kilo. Love the 3pro and loving the kilo. a.
13. Looks like a precision lite, is it active? a.
14. Good luck with this. It is absolutely stunning and appeals to me on many levels - except price cos I'm skint! But, its beautiful and with a 50's precision neck to add!! I've roughly done the nut figure, 43mm? andy
15. That is just beautiful! Huge kudos from me and if had a trade or money to offer it would be mine! Also, what a job John at bravewood did on repairing the damage. Wow!
16.
OK final push... men in white coats waiting... £400 the pair... there said it out loud... do i feel better.... eeemmm... 'ere put me down!!!!
Eh??! what you up to? That is just plain silly!
17.
Ah crap I actually forgot! Looking for £550 Cheers silentbob..
Too cheap! £800 is around average. good luck andy
18. Great to talk with you and do the business. Good luck and I hope the amp is everything you wished - she certainly was for me. a.

23. I have seen this rig and played through it - it is stunning and in stunning condition! Being at the other end of the country means little these days considering the amount of delivery companies offering and delivering value for money. Andy is a good guy and will go that extra mile to ensure you get looked after. The price on this is incredibly, no unbelievably good value considering the quality! Auld Trace gear is the dugs! Good luck a.
24. Wee bump! a.
