  1. Just checked, the sliverface 50 is 26.3kgs or 57.8lbs. Ampeg SVT Classic 80lbs or 36.6kgs. I'm done carrying an SVT Classic about but I really want another one! In the interim, I'll make do with my PF50T - 10.2kgs & SVT 3pro - 12kgs but I love using my Bugera BV1001T at 3.2kgs
  2. I assume you got it @AndyTravis
  3. That’s a lot of combo for chuckies! The amp itself is superb and is yours fitted with the Turbosound speaker? This should be long gone at that price. Good luck, Andy
  4. The Ampeg PF50T is worthy of consideration. I have one they are fantastic and a real bargain at the moment on the used market 😎🤘
  5. It appears after a wee bit research the original bb1000 was 4.5kg and the bb1000ma is 8.5lbs or just under 4kgs.
  6. This appears to be a steal - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226688451886?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ZcwxrKdmTUW&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=PGq_huysSd-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  7. Made the same mistake 😞
  8. There are two different pix of the heel truss rod. I’m steering clear of that one.
  9. Beautiful 😻 but more rose blue than pink 😎🤘
  10. Neepheid, you are a star mate We have three broken BB614s at the college I work in and my colleague is trying to fix them so this is very much appreciated. Cheers, Andy
  11. Hi folks, by chance more in hope though, does anyone have a BB614 wiring diagram? Ta in advance, Andy
  12. I my opinion, the SVT is the best valve amp ever but there are many great ones about too. I’ve had an Ashdown LB30 that was a wonderful little valve head and kicked out more than said 30watts. Actually I also had an Ashdown CTM-15 valve head that was a brilliant home practice amp that kicked ass lol but prior to this I had an original Trace Elliot V4 that was an absolute monster . My head was turned by the SVT Classic though 🥰
  13. Aye be good to see the finished bass 😎🤘
  14. Not that they are neglected just that my Fender P is doing everything I need a bass to do but my EBMM Stingray, Spector Euro 4LT and Yamaha Attitude mk2 are all redundant at the moment.
  15. Agree 100% This is easily a £2k bass given the mk3 is £4K new and the newest version the wife tribute is £6k. Good luck mate as those are awesome basses!
  16. Take your pick as I only play the maple neck Fender P now.
  17. Wow! What a steal that is for the price 😮 Stupendously good amps, good luck with your sale Andy
  18. Aye I used to dream of owning a Columbus while playing my K pbass! Oh the shame of it all
  19. I had the BBG5 of which is very similar to the N5 and thought is was excellent. The TRB style soap bars work for me on many levels, tone, clarity and growl but they are place perfectly for my finger playing. I miss my TRB5 mk1, the single best 5 string ever! The BBG5s below is identical to the one I owned. (Image courtesy of talkbass.com)
  20. If a BBG4 then you'll love it, if it's the BB1300, that'll will be something else
  21. I'll guess from Japan or maybe Tiaiwan.
  22. If helps, regretted selling my BB1600 too, huge mistake but them’s the breaks unfortunately.
  23. @AndyTravis
