1. ... I was a gun-slinger in a previous life; naturally I died young and left a good-looking corpse!...
2. Hi, I'll take it if you'll post to Ireland... Thanks, Sean
3. ah nooooo!.... more head-wrecking - Why did I spot this!?!?!?!?.... And now it's active as well...  ...Hi Gwil, by the way, Sean
4. Hi Pram, Why not drop the price to £990 or very nearest offer? Alternatively wire it as a passive, enjoy it and maybe wait until the market improves... IMHO unless you are really hard-pressed you can't go wrong if you hold on to it. I was sorely skint during the last recession and sold a number of lovely basses - not alone there I'd say - that would now be worth funny-money if I had held on to them (Early MMs, Warwicks...). ...Sure lots of us didn't have an arse in our trousers back then and in my case selling the basses only provided short-term relief from the grief!... ...we used to travel to gigs on a pit-bull pulled three-wheeled roller-skate and make our guitar strings from the intestines of recently deceased relatives, for f**ks sake!!!...) Good luck with the sale if this is what you decide to do, and enjoy what looks like a lovely bass if you keep it... :
5. Hi Zak, Did you get my e-mail regarding the Q-tron?..., all the best, Sean
6. ...the fun and games might have been a "two-way-street" here methinks: how would "avin a giraffe" translate into German I wonder?... Sean
7. ...wow!!!...
8. ...did I hear sombody asking about kettle leads?... I just saw a very unsavoury looking, grease-spattered, battered kettle loitering in a very suspicious manner in our kitchen a short while ago... rumour has it hes's a real hard-boiled bugger also detective, so tread cautiously, I'd say...
9.
Bump with more added.
...message sent earlier... Best, sub-a-dub
10. ... yeah, thought so!...
11.
I was sent a Squire bass in a clear plastic bag. ... If ye'll excuse the mixed metathingys - I hope it wasn't a case of "buying a rig-in-a-bag"?... Should I now join MB1 outside in the rain? sub-a-dub ...now what's the bets I'll make a rigs-ear of uploading this?...
12. ...Jeez, these are the dog's b****x! I have one as well that I use in the attic for practice along with a little Roland stereo PA (2 cm 30's) for effects etc., and if I let the mind wander a little it's serious leg-on-the-monitor/"thank you!, goodnight..." territory. At this price an absolute steal!!! Hello Chris by the way - I really enjoy the sales threads!!... Best of luck with the sale All the best from Ireland, Sean
13. Sorry ..."popped"... off...
14.
Yes, sure. Postage will probably be more, but i'll check it out.
That's great! By the way apologies over making offer "in public" - maybe I should have pm'ed you but I was minding my three year old and got distracted and just poped off a reply... Thanks a lot, Sean
15.
I am looking to sell this classic pedal for the tidy sum of £90. No trades please, as I have bought tickets to see the prodigy and they were 'tre expensive' It is perfect working condition, and excellent cosmetic condition. A few inevitable scratches on that painted metal sheet box. This is the old style, which is infinitley cooler. Also has original box, but not original power supply (I've had so many and they keep breaking) so it comes with a variable voltage psu which works great. About £10 postage would cover it I reckon. Pics soon - PM for questions.
I will take this if you would post to Ireland... Thanks, Sean
16. Hi Rumple, I'll take the pups if you don't mind posting to Ireland - if you need to add a bit to cover postage that's no problem either... All the best, Sean
17. Hey Keir, How are things? Are you still laying down basslines with that gorgeous fretless?... All the best, Sean
18. Pm'd...
19. Hi - just a feeler..., Is the mistress still available? Regards, Sean
20. Hi Jim - All's well... strings arrived safely today , so thanks a lot!! Sean
21.
So are a few others… I think it mostly boils down to the most tempting offer that I get because I’m in 2 minds as to whether I’m selling as I over priced my Jazz build by about £200. Don’t suppose you’ve got a nice Jazz neck?
Ben, Pm'd re possible source for neck... Sean
22. Hi Jim, I'll take the 4 packs of 40 - 100's steels, if that's OK?... All the best, Sean
23. I Just bought a Warmoth jazz body and Gotoh bridge from Nick. Top marks for communication, negotiation, fund transfer, packaging & delivery and finally - and critically - the items themselves. Not my first time doing business with Nick, and hopefully not my last. Highly recommended! All the best, Sean
