2. Hi, From the German Bass and Pickup Guru LeFay, i am selling a pair of really great sounding pickups, which fit in every J-Bass Fenderstyle. The Pickups have great low end and nice highs, the sound is really clear, transparent and modern. Price is 100 Euro
3. the case is solved it is a 71 neck, a73 neckplate, a 73 elctronic and a 73 body.as i heard it was usual at that time to use parts from different years..just take a neck out of a box and put it onto the body:) for me it is a present made twice, because i was looking for a bass born in the same year than me. if i ever would come to the conclusion to sell it..you will be the first ones to hear it
4.
Good call IMO. Best to stick something in the thread title mate so potential buyers don't get excited to then realise you've change your mind.
I changed the title, you are right. Linus, i would not get only 1 guiness for you:)
5. Just to let you kind guys tell you my newest decision..the Bass will stay in my hands..i played the bass again and the sound is so stunning i am not able to give it away. After i decided for this, i polish the bass once more in every detail and an interesting information comes up. The bass was bought in 1974 as a used one, so i try to find out the original birthday of this baby and it is week 50 day 3 in the year 1971.Just the Neckplate was replaced in 1973 so this is why it is a 425*** Serial..thanks for all of you, who told me not to sell the bass...i will honor the history and play it as she has to be played..thank you very much
6. Hey Guys:) nice pics:D in german you call it "mäuse klavier", which means mouse piano..but due to your reaction..it seems to be not the right translation:) Don`t blame all on google translation..sometimes its just me We call it Mäuseklavier because it looks something like a little piano..i will show you: It is not that Mids are missing, you have the possibilty to choose different types of mi frequency curves, maybe similar to the yamaha ne-1. This one shows the belt clip hope this helps..even if i will miss the funny pics:)

8. Prunes and Custard - Crowther Audio Bass Overdrive / Harmonic generator with no loss of lowend! Preferred pedal of Mus bassplayer or from Melvins. It is handcrafted in new zeeland in small amounts(sure not the right words..but you know what i mean;)) The Prunes & Custard is a two stage circuit. There is a preamp stage , the gain of which is adjusted with the Drive control. This stage followed by a special waveshaping distortion circuit. There is some treble roll-off between the preamp and the special distortion circuit. The frequency at which this treble roll-off happens can be changed with the Guitar/Bass switch. The special distortion stage produces strong harmonic overtones, mostly odd harmonic. Higher harmonics are progressively introduced with increased Drive settings and signal level, so a decaying bass guitar note can sound like a mean swept filter. Playing double notes, like 4ths or 5ths can produce some strong intermodulation effects, rather like a ring modulator, but more musical, albeit more distorted! The Mix control is a balance between the preamp stage output, (CCW) and the special distortion stage output (CW). For bass guitar, the Mix control would usually be set at around 10 to 12 o'clock. For guitar, a high Mix setting, along with reduced Drive can give some rather pleasant overdrive effects. Where the Drive and Mix controls are set to higher settings, the sound can become all harmonics, with very little fundamental signal, and in some situations may sound a bit thin, especially for bass guitar, but setting the Lo Freq. contour switch to the right takes some low frequency from the Preamp side of the Mix control and mixes it back with the special distortion side. When used as an effect in a live mixing or recording situation, the P&C can be driven from from a spare aux send or channel direct out and returned to a spare input channel. In this situation the Mix control would be set to maximum, and there is the added flexibilty of being able to apply EQ to the distortion effect, and to use it dynamically within a mix. This is quite useful for (yet another) overdriven snare sound, and for toms. To avoid things getting too out of hand, inserting a noise gate on the return, and maybe keying it from the send signal can be a useful idea official Price $325. I will sell or trade..just waiting for your offer:)

15. Heeeads up! How could i start the history from this bass..This is the bass of my uncle who recently died. On 23rd of december in the year 1974 he bought this bass as a christmas present for himself. The original bill from 1974 is included in this offer and can be seen in one of the pictures i will add. This beauty is all original and has seen a lot of stages and worked hard all the years, which you can see it can tell of. It is a player, has been played and should be played by the new second! owner after 35 years..maybe you? This is your chance to get a piece of 35 years of music history.Every part is original including thumb rest and ash-treys over pickup and bridge. Due to being an early 70`s, gladfully this nice bass has a 4 point bolt on Neck with usual beautiful blockinlays. For the e-Tuner there are 3 screws missing, which you can buy for a handful cents, but even now the tuner holds the e prefectly. As you can see, this bass is not a new one, so please do not expect one.. it is really used for that what it has been created for..playing those great grooves which only sound on these kind of basses. I tried to play this vintage baby by my own, but my memories are to strong so it better to give it to another one who will honor the bass for what it is..history I am open for trading and selling. So if you are interested in the bass please let me know what your offer will be..is it a bass for trading, please send me pictures of your babe, a combination of trading with money adjustment in both directions is also welcome. My emailaddy is [email protected] So now it is time to let the pictures speak..
