  1. Hi If you'd accept a sterling draft and post them to Ireland, I'd happily take these... Regards, Sean
  2. Hi, At the risk of "earning your undying hatred" - and casting an eye at your avatar - I think I'll just drool over the pictures on this one... Seriously though, what a beautiful bass. I just love that translucent finish. A combination of Tort s/plate and a bound-pearl neck in either r/wood or maple and Fender would sell truckloads. But then again its rarity is what sets it apart in the first place. Good luck with the sale - but then again you can't loose either way with that bass! All the best, Sean
  3. Hi Chris, PM'd re: jazz body, jazz pups and badass 2, Regards, Sean
  4. Hi again Deej, PM'd again re update on BDDI..., Sean
  5. Hi Deej, PM'd re memory man & BDDI, Regards, Sean
  6. Hi guys, Has anybody got any advice about changing the internal batteries in Roland synth products? Any thoughts/comments would be really appreciated... All the best, Sean PS Just to clarify - I am concerned about losing the internal sounds during change-over, and wondering if there are generic batteries (I have a V Bass, Gr-20 and an XP 50 synth). Our local Roland dealer is difficult to get in touch with and queries take ages to sort, so...
  7. Hi, Would you be interested in a trade for an EBS Blacklabel Octabass? (Model with switches: I got it in a trade recently and am already covered for octaving needs...) All the best, Sean

  9. ... Thank God for that!... This bass (along with the Sei 5 that used to belong to Gwilm; the Sei 5 that Sshorepunk just sold, and: Dub Junkies Godlyke Deity fretless 4) have been responsible for so much GAS at chez Sub-a-dub that I was considering serious "treatment" of a radical nature (self mutilation maybe: concrete block & anvil meet 2 fore-fingers type thing...) . Anytime they have appeared for sale I have either: just purchased something else; gas boiler explodes; engine falls out of car ... or some other calamity befalls one of the Sub-a-dub brood... I am beginning to think that it is just not meant to be - at least for the moment... Anyway congratulations on the pending sale... Best regards, Sean
  10. And without a picture this bass doesn't really exist so........... Attached thumbnail(s) Reduced 94% 1200 x 1600 (392.84K) Reduced 94% 1600 x 1200 (350.76K) Now that is lovely - there is something about an unlined ebony board that just "does it" for me... Good luck with the sale! All the best, Sub-a-dub
  11. These are indeed wonderful basses - I have a four-string standard (spalted maple on ash/ebony board) that I bought here last year and it is the business for finish, playability and tone. I believe that OTPJ commented on the sales thread that it was the best jazz tone he had heard at the time, and it certainly elicits comment any time I use it live. I am looking for a five string and would be all over this - ironically the only reason that I would hesitate over this particular bass is indeed the beautiful finish - in particular the pearl binding: makes me think that the kind of gigs I do (boppers bouncing all over the shop!... Think: mike, stand and front-teeth trepidation) and this kind of delicate beauty would be a match not quite made-in-heaven... However, for proper stage and studio work this could be a bass for life! ...Still though, if I can shift some stuff, you'd never know, as this is an absolute steal at this price... Best of luck with the sale, S

  13. Hi, Would you ship this to Ireland? I know it would probably be quite costly, but that would make a nice standby amp at that price... Regards, Sean
  14. Hi again Gaf, Is the Fender neckplate still available? Will it fit the Allparts neck? I'll take it in any case if available... All the best, Sean
