    Looks like the kind of route you’d see for a headless tuning system, but Warwick seem to have just sunken the normal bridge to allow for lower action?

    Trawling the interwebs aimlessly, I came across this on the Markbass website: http://markbass.it/product-detail/mb-stu-amp-1000/ I like the idea of the graphic EQ but there is a gaping frequency chasm between the 400hz and 1.2k sliders...still, I like the idea of blending between the solid state and tube preamps. The cab is rather pretty too!

    Have you got any cable ties lying around? Maybe tie a couple to each of the end loops and use the cable ties to clip the strap to? Maybe use a couple of ties on each side for strength. Not the most elegant solution but could work ok.

    Yep. They’ve sent you the strap for a Nano+. It won’t work. Unless you can squeeze it onto a couple of the little loops on the bag...

    It’s possible Amazon may have just sent you a generic strap which isn’t designed for the Pedaltrain and wont attach in the same way... Although I recently bought my Nano (original version) used from a seller abroad as it isn’t available to buy new anymore - are you sure you didn’t buy a Nano+? The Nano+ is a few inches longer than the original Nano and has a different case with metal rings to clip on a strap with carabiners.

    I downloaded the RCF mixer app on my iPad a few months ago just out of curiosity and it is super slick. Really nicely designed bit of software!

    As long as the string reaches the nut before the silks start, you should be fine. I don’t consider string taper to be an issue personally. In my experience, the following strings are all fine for 35” scale basses: D’addario EXLs Dunlop Flats Maruszczyk Nickels Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats Dingwall Medium Scale strings (medium scale for Dingwall is long scale for everyone else) Thomastik Infeld Flats

    Yep, I used to have one and it’s amazing how much they’ve squeezed into what it still a very compact housing. Great preamp, great DI!

    Still confused my poor Luddite brain @KiOgon - is the .047uF setting intended to sound like a “traditional” tone control at the halfway mark? Sorry, I know next to nothing about this stuff but am very interested!

    Some questions, @KiOgon: 1. Is this designed to replace a traditional volume control, with the existing tone knob interacting with the values of the capacitors? 2. When you say “off” or “kill”, presumably you mean it literally mutes the bass in that position?
