MXR M80

I sold my OLP 5er for £100, same colours but with matching headstock, that one looks peculiar. Don't think i'd pay over £50 for it Including postage it's £100, i thing you can get better complete basses for less than that. I recently got a really nice Aria Jazz for £60 posted

I don't think i'll ever sell my Warwick Corvette. My first top class bass, it can do almost any sound i've ever asked of it. Pretty much fully retired now, bares lots of little marks and gouges from many nights of semi-drunken gigging. I'm sort of glad it's only worth about £300, otherwise GAS would strike and i might consider selling it!

Suitably impressed with that one, good job! Never in a million years thought it would turn out looking that good

I thought that there wasn't enough clearance between the body and the strings to allow me to dig in like on a proper Ray. Still i think the owner paid about £100 for so it was a steal, the citcuit was decent enough

The polarity switch is either set to centre negative or centre positive, depending on what your pedal requires If it's a newer EHX, like a Nano etc. it will be centre negative. Most pedals are. The C shape and the dot shape represent the tip and barrell parts of the DC plug Cheapies like this one are often unregulated too, i used one at home and it played hell with a couple of my pedals. There was loads of background noise and it was unusable Dedicated guitar ones are a much better bet EDIT: From the pic the left hand setting is centre +ve, the right one is centre-ve

Just gone to re-string my Zoot and after taking the strings off i've noticed the one of the little retainers that slots in the back of the body to keep the string anchored is missing! Looked everywhere, no sign of it at all and i can't use the bass till i replace it. Got a gig tomorrow too!

One of mine failed on me a few gigs ago and i really like their cables. Seriously doubt i've still got the receipt now though

We must be super awesome, Sex on Fire only took us a few goes! Mr. Brightside always goes down well. We stopped playing Kaiser Chief songs cos we hate em and it seems they aren't that popular anymore. They tended to get more rolled eyes from the crowd than any other modern song I know they're not exactly modern but any Queen and Stevie Wonder tunes are sure fire winners. If you can get the harmonies right Under Pressure is fantastic
