  1. Lovely that buddy, the colour and wear is sublime
  2. Yeah the bridge does look a little too far to the right @Kev
  3. If these are his pics before he sent it, you cant see the scrapes near the bridge that you can see on yours after delivery. Must have happened in the packing/shipping/storage stage.
  4. Im not sure if thats correct tbh. Asking for other peoples input and opinions is always going to be tricky if you won't give all the info ( builders name ) and then get offended at the end. Ive only ever found that 99% of the people on here are genuine and are willing to help anyone sort out a situation. Theres the odd one of course... Hopefully he gets the bass he wants and originally ordered.
  5. Are they going to sort the frets and other issues too? Didn't look like the only problem was the finish but obvs its you call and bass/money.
  6. Ampeg SVT DI These things are really great but she’s sitting unused on the shelf so I’d like to move her on. Cash or would take an HX Stomp in PX too. UK Shipping included.

  7. If my Jazz neck sells mate I will be in touch. GLWTS dude
  8. Well come and say hello buddy. Should be a canny weekend
  9. You're super covered so don't panic. However, I have had similar before that if a courier knows he's not going to make it on the day/time its supposed to be there for they will sign for it saying delivered and bring it the day after. Naughty, yes and a flippin' nightmare but it has happened to be ( on a £5k bass I sent to a customer ). Hope you get the bass, but at worst you'll get your cash back. Not cool on the shop in question though, they should really take full responsibility.
  10. Parcelforce are dreadful and I won't use them unless theres no option. Just done a deal with @itsmedunc on a Barefaced cab and he waited in for 2 days for Parcelforce to collect, which of course they didn't. I then reverted back to UPS and I have it within 24 hours.
  11. Very sweet bass that Brian mate
  12. The details and dimensions are above buddy on the last pic Interior Length 50.8 cm 20.0 inch • Interior Width 48.3 cm 19.1 inch • Interior Height 17.8 cm 7.1 inch • Base Depth 5.7 cm 2.3 inch • Lid Depth 57cm 2.3 inc
  13. These things are excellent
  14. Yeah had the original tort plate with it, I’ll be putting it back on tomorrow.
  15. Sod’s Law, it’s a beauty too
  16. Another date for the diary, apparently this one is a belter. Vintage Bass Room will again be there so if you come along, don't forget to give me a shout. Cant promise to have JMJ or VJ from Kaiser Chiefs there like the Leeds show, but I will see who I can rustle up! THE LONDON INTERNATIONAL GUITAR SHOW 2025 Now in its eighth year, The London International Guitar Show (LIGS) will return to Kempton Park Racecourse, Staines Rd East, Sunbury-on-Thames, Middlesex, TW16 5AQ on 26th October 2025. LIGS has all the trademark features of our other well-established events. These include an affordable entrance fee for visitors, sensibly-priced exhibitor costs with no added extras, free parking for all, good transport links including proximity to the motorways and even a railway station in the venue grounds. Long-distance visitors can also benefit from a large range of reasonably priced accommodation nearby. Last time more than 150 exhibitors attended from all over the UK and Europe and this year promises to attract even more. Based on the style of USA table-top exhibitions, LIGS is first and foremost a retail event. New, vintage and pre-owned guitars, amps and pedals will be available to buy, trade and sell from a host of retailers, distributors, manufacturers, luthiers, boutique makers and private collectors - not to mention a whole gamut of strings and accessories. As with all the NGS events, workshops, demonstrations and live music will be available in separate areas throughout the day, with some of the top names in the industry performing. LIGS is sponsored by Strings & Things, LR Baggs, Mooer, Hercules Stands, Ernie Ball, Fret-King Guitars, Vintage Guitars, Ivor Mairants Musicentre, Lava Music, Rapier Guitars, Scan Pro Audio, Flattley Guitar Pedals, Reflex Print, McCrerie Guitars, Guitar Nerds and The Musicians' Union. Registration is open to any business with guitar-related products including retailers, distributors, manufacturers, luthiers, boutique makers and private collectors and dealers. Free Parking. Public admission is £15 (pay on the door) with accompanied under-12's free.
  17. Hopefully picking this up on Sunday! Its was written in the stars
  18. Thats my reasoning, I will happily carry a stupidly heavy tube amp and pair it with a Barefaced 610 or 310 which in my mind equals things out. Plus the sound is worth the carry
  19. Well you’re welcome to come and try
  20. Yeah tried Mike, not that one I’m afraid, think it had already gone. I know they’re pretty rare but I’ll keep my fingers crossed someone decides to cash in
  21. Such cool gear, my fist amp was a Trace Elliot. So bloody heavy I used to push it in a Presto supermarket trolley to rehearsals at the local school, about a mile away uphill!!! Searching for a V8 atm if anyone has one in their garage
  22. It’s a beauty and I always offer a little discount to BC members too. Both @AndyTravis and @Old Man Riva have played this at the Birmingham show.
  23. Right up my street but no trades is the dealbreaker! GLWTS man and have a bump!
