  1. Justin Meldal-Johnsen is the guy with the cool hair and the man with the moustache is Veejay drummer with Kaiser Chiefs
  2. Everyone is connected via Basschat in one way or another 🤣
  3. What a bloody brilliant show, thanks again to @AndyTravis for the mega help and @LukeFRC for bringing some apple shaped sustenance. I can't promise to bring such high profile 'rock stars' to every show but Andy will always be there! Wonder who I can get to come to the London shindig in October 🤔 VJ from Kaisers is a super cool cat and top guy, bought a bass from me during covid times and sorted me out tickets and backstage beers to after shows too, and JMJ I've chatted too for years about weird and wonderful basses. and the stars aligned to get him to rock up to a Village Hall in the outskirts of Leeds! Weird how things work out. He's coming to the studio at the weekend too. Just back from a mega old valve amp collection to Wales. Well played everyone!
  4. Yeah it was pretty cool, such a great guy and a fairly epic bassist too, thanks for popping in buddy
  5. Holy crap, thats a looker 😍
  6. I will be down at the Leeds/Bradford Guitar Show this Sunday with Vintage Bass Room, assisted by the quite magnificent @AndyTravis so if any of the Basschat massive are local and at a loose end, come and give us a shout and try some of the plethora of basses im bringing down. Should be good fun and if the start align theres going to be one hell of a Bassist popping into the stand for a bit too. Its not a huge show but should be worth a pottle around and its only 7 quid. Some of the info below - The LEEDS BRADFORD GUITAR SHOW returns to Pudsey Civic Hall on Sunday 14th September 2025 from 10am to 4.00pm. Admission £7. PAY ON THE DOOR. (Accompanied under-12s free.) FREE PARKING. Train station nearby. Now in its 17th year, the show is the only large-scale guitar show to take place in West Yorkshire and is highly anticipated and regarded by visitors and exhibitors alike. Hosted by Northern Guitar Shows Ltd, the show has all their trademark features - an affordable entrance fee for visitors, sensibly-priced exhibitor costs with no added extras, free parking for all, good transport links including proximity to the motorways and even a nearby railway station. Based on the style of USA table-top exhibitions, the show is first and foremost a retail event. New, vintage and pre-owned guitars, amps and pedals will be available to buy, trade and sell from a host of retailers, distributors, manufacturers, luthiers, boutique makers and private collectors. Plenty of special show bargains and on-the-day prices will be available on a wide range of products, both new and used. As with all NGS events, workshops, demonstrations and live music will be available in separate areas throughout the day, with superb guitarists performing in an intimate setting. Every visitor will be entered into a free prize draw to win a guitar. All this plus refreshments and a licensed bar make the Leeds/Bradford Guitar Show the ideal day out for any guitar aficionado. Public admission is just £7 (pay on the door) with accompanied under-12's free.

    Darkglass Anagram

Doesn't look like it atm. Im pretty new to the QC and im blown away at what it will do. Lots of compliments from sound techs and crowd about the sound too. Id like to try the Anagram but think its a year or 2 away from being a real competitor to the QC
  19. 3-400 I reckon
  20. Yep, madness mate
  21. Same here with a guitar shop 90 mins from me, had 2 basses I wanted to buy, about £5k, asked for a £1k non refundable deposit to hold them. I explained I was happy to pay a deposit, would drive straight to him and if they were as described would buy them both and if not I’d like the money back. He point blank refused and needless to say I didn’t travel up. They were still for sale 2 months later…
  22. Nice that fella, looks a solid choice
  23. Just build it a little shorter, no one will know!🤣
