Lovely Squier Bronco Bass in red, purchased from Big County's Scott Whitley. This bass benefits from some lovely flame on the neck and headstock. it's in very good condition with only a couple of very slight marks. The grey square thing on the scratchplate is a stick on furniture carpet protector from B&Q which I use as a thumb rest. Happy to remove before sale if required. There's a scratch on volume knob. The bass benefits from the following mods: High Mass Bridge Artec Blade style pickup The original bridge and pickup will be included. Based in Milton Keynes. Postage available at buyers risk and cost. No case available but I have packing materials. £125 firm.

Meet Veronica. She's a Japanese JB62 made for the export market with some upgrades. She's from 2007/8 and bears the 'Crafted in Japan' label. She benefits from the following alterations: Wizard 84 Pickups Badass II Bridge Vintage Style Tuners (although non reverse) from a MIJ Fender Hootenaney Button Dunlop Straplock Tuning Pegs Gorgeous Seafoam Green Nitro finish from Andy Viccars inc matching headstock '64 style decal Earthing strip removed, body drilled to accept earthing wire from bridge to cavity Cavities shielded with copper foil. Groovy Aum sticker on pickguard (happy to remove before sale) Mint pickguard imported from The States. This is a well used bass and the parts do show signs of use. By nature, nitro is a delicate finish and there are marks to the body including some light buckle rash on the back. I've tried to photograph the marks as best I can but some haven't come out as clearly as I'd liked - so maybe I should describe it as slightly roadworn. The front pot has a slight crackle. I can't guarantee the electrics are original. Reddish mark on the back of the neck - no idea what it is - been there since I've had it. Incredibly dark and lovely rosewood board She's set up with a reasonably low action. No significant dead spots or wolf tones and she's an extremely resonant bass that has received lots of compliments on her sound. I used this bass when the band I was in supported Madness at Northampton Cricket Ground! I've sold this bass on once and bought it back again, so won't be disappointed if it doesn't go. Hard to price, but looking for £650. Only trades would be something Mustangy or one of the Fusion range of GK Class D heads. Messages regarding other trades will be ignored. I'd much prefer collection from Milton Keynes so any potential buyer can check her out in the flesh, in which case she'll be supplied in a leatherette slip case. I am prepared to post at buyer's cost and risk. Most couriers won't insure musical instruments unless shipped in a hard case. A good quality hard case can be added for an extra £50. Thanks for looking.

Did you order the Serek direct from the manufacturers or are they distributed over here?

Details here: https://www.wharfedalepro.com/product-detail.php?pid=107 In well used but fully working condition. Really handy for sticking on a mic stand base and having close. You can run your mic into it and control your own vocal level. Not really man enough for bass or kick drum but a good solution if you sing a bit. £80 firm collected from Milton Keynes or posted for an extra tenner.

For reluctant sale is my lovely California JM. Matt black ash body with a maple fingerboard. There's some nice flame going on on the neck too. This is a really solid bass and very resonant - great for funk, it has a nice natural compression. As the frets on these basses are Plekked, they can be set up really nice and this one is no exception. It has a few marks from gigging but nothing significant and I've done my level best to show everything in the pictures. The mark on the body end of the back of the neck is a pattern in the wood and not a dink. Everything works as it should - she's a real nice player. Weight wise, she's a solid 10lb so no lightweight. She would, however, make a great weapon in a bar room brawl - not that I've tried that out 😉 The Aum sticker comes free and is removable. The neck blocks are also aftermarket stickers and will come off easily enough. Would much prefer buyer to collect, however I will post at the buyers risk and expense. To post insured would require a hard case, which I can supply for an extra £50 - otherwise she'll come in a Sandberg gig bag. £700 firm. Price dropped to £650. Note - I also have a knackered hard case i can include FOC for posting. Only trades I'd entertain would be something Mustang shaped or one of the Class D 'Fusion' heads from GK. Thanks for looking.

Precision body, sold to me as Mighty Mite but no maker marks on the body. Immaculate condition, can't find a mark on it, here's the link to the original ad I believe it's made of ash. It weighs 2.35 kg and when made up into a bass weighed 9.2 lb including a high mass bridge and vintage style pickups. I'll include a fender neck plate and screws. The main pics make it look yellower than it is in the flesh - the end on pics give a better idea of colour. Looking for what I paid - £125 plus a tenner postage or collection from Milton Keynes. No offers.

Mighty Mite one piece maple precision neck. Very good condition with the exception of a tiny dink at the fourth fret. Two sets of screw holes on heel. This was fitted with traditional Fender tuners as well as another set so various tuner holes. When fitted with the Fender tuners (not included) you can see that the headstock is probably not big enough to accommodate them as the edge of the tuner sits about flush with the edge of the headstock. Vintage Tint and decal applied by Andy Viccars. Ninety sobs plus postage or collection from Milton Keynes

Yes, that's right, we do have a gig there! -
I've had a fantastic opportunity and landed the bass slot with Del Bromham's Blues Devils/Stray. I had my first gig last night at the Legends of Rock Festival at Great Yarmouth where we were playing in the V Arena at 7.15. We were joined for a couple of numbers by an old band member - Pete Dyer who also travelled and stayed with us. I've had such a blast this weekend being looked after by the band and roadies and being regaled with stories from Del and Pete about the band's past - dodgy management, Charlie Kray, The Mafia and the Teamsters, just so much stuff! The set itself went really well, loads of energy, decent sound and a great reception despite a couple of techie issues, and I finally got to play through an SVT and fridge! To say I'm over the moon is an understatement and this is only the beginning. By far the best weekend of my musical career so far. Happy Tut!

I'd just let it go mate. You seem to have built up a resentment over nothing there, and its poisoning you. Why don't you share their social media advertising, saying that you played at the festival last year and you wish them luck for this year. You get promo, the festival gets promo, the charity gets more money and you get a nice warm feeling that you've done some good in the world. Everyone's a winner baby!!
