    A pair of EV Sx300 passive speakers in remarkably good condition. A few light scuffs on the bottom - that's all! They come with very roadwork and battered Thomann covers that have holes in them!!. Deets as follows - This description is from the EV Website and describe them as Sx300'E' - not sure if these have the 'E' suffix, but they look exactly the same as the pics.     I'm far from starving as my developing muffin top attests, but I continue to gig with my Zoom B1xon, I bloody love it. It makes all the sounds I need, runs on batteries if I need it to and fits in my gig bag a treat. I usually use four or possibly five patches. Not knocking the Helix or those that use it at all, but the old Zoom has got to be THE best vfm bass player's bit of kit ever made!

    Agree with this. Big stretch to the first fret which makes them uncomfortable for me. Otherwise cracking basses.

    I replaced my b3 with a b3n. Now I'm considering going Frfr I wish I hadn't sold the b3 on!

    I lost my FRFR virginity last night. The venue have a set of mains installed so that freed me up to use one of my FBT12a's as a monitor. I took a jack from my B1xon straight into the desk and eq'd via the desk then back into the monitor. The set up was definitely adequate but I think it would be good to split the signal so I could inependently eq the on stage sound. I get the impression most folks are going into the desk via some kind of di box and an XLR. Is there any reason I shouldn't just use the jack out from my Zoom?

    I've had a BH250 and an Elf. Much prefer the Elf, although as has been stated, a speakon out would be better. I'd also love it to have a hi mid control. Can you imagine an Elf with a 12 band graphic? Wow! We always have PA support and I sometimes use the Elf instead of my main amp.
