1. I just wasn't into 15s until I bought my Orange. I really couldn't get on with others I tried. This cab suprised me....a lot.
 2.
Leading on from the above, can someone explain the 1- / 1+ stuff? I haven't had chance to play mine again yet, worked fine so I must have plugged it in right, but the only speakon connector I had before was with my GK rig, which had it's own speakon cable for the bi-amping so never looked into how they're wired.
Does it matter which you plug into?!
 3.
I have a genuine TecAmp cover for my M212 and it's pretty damn good. No idea what the Roqsolid covers are like but mine is really padded and has elastic tabs that get fixed around the rear feet on the cab. Front zip on both corners as well. Recommended. D.
Can you use the cab with the cover on? If you sneak the cables around it?
 4. I've tested it...there is a thread on here with the video. Cool and very light. Nice dirty sound if you want it, and can do the fat n clean as well. Solid Orange tone...not AD200b Mk3 Holy Grail tone, but damn good. I've got my guitar Dual Terror and PPC212 in Ltd 2009 White to pick up this weekend
 5.
My back is safe! New lightweight rig (15kg total !!!) ShuttleMax 12.0 plus Barefaced Compact (pimped in 'salt & pepper' - "push it real good" ) Apols for the light moire effect on the photo - decided not to take up a whole page with the image
Liking that grille! Liking the Max!
 6. Something has come up and I might have to move this on already... Its a feeler, very much so, as to be honest this cab is awesome. Very light, well built, brand new, ungigged. 2x12 + Tweet, lightweight, strong, fairly slim. I will probably pull out and keep it though... Let me know what you think....offers please. http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/84439 for pics n specs. Looks identical and is new still with packaging. Thanks. Edit: Withdrawn
 7.
nice one. if i bother i'll get the official cover i reckon, but not sure yet as its almost a third of what i paid for the amp! certain there are no customs fees with it being EU though.
Exactly...its a third of what the cab costs lol....hmmm
 8. Hey guys! Right, I have managed to source the Tecamp covers for the cabinets. They are quite pricey, but they do have front zips and an elastic part that keeps the covers on. I think they are probably the most intensely designed covers ever made! Now I can’t decide to get a Roqsolid one for £40 delivered or risk getting one from Germany and paying £90 + any charges it might get in the UK customs. Do we pay any duty on items coming in from Europe? It could work out at more than double the price, and in the end its going to get scuffed and marked anyway. Opinions?
 9.
I received my L610 today and it sounded amazing with my Puma 500 head........amazing!!!.............until an hour into band practise when it started sounding fuzzy like an overdriven sound so I'm assuming a speaker has gone?????? I hadn't thought about it but after the event I remembered reading that it's just as easy to blow a speaker by not enough power as by too much! Have I been stupid trying to drive a huge powerful cab with a 500W head?
That shouldnt really be a problem....500W is pretty average nowadays. Hmm....send it back dude. Shame really
 10.
Rosetti were the Tecamp importer/distributer for UK, getting supplies of things like covers may be tricky until the new distributer is up and running - anyone know who the new distribute is ? Some of the Euro dealers may be able to supply covers: Here's the product codes and eur list prices: http://www.musikundtechnik.de/download/A_T...809_english.pdf and heres someone that sells them this one is for the M212 (product code TECCM750) , phew, wore meself out researching that

I got my gigbag for my Puma here: http://www.musik-schmidt.de/gb/manufacturer/tecamp Covers are not listed here at the moment, but they could probably get them for you. Iain H
Cheers chaps. Ive emailed about 10 places now, no reply. Might go with a Roqsolid one for £40.
 11. Nice.
 12. I bet 8x10 is awesome.... Tecamp club should be started on the gear porn thread!
 13. Fantastic condition! If I hadnt have bought my Tecamp I would have gone for this!
 14. I remember when people used to knock Japanese Fenders. They were wrong. Lakland/Sadowsky can make their basses cheaper this way, so everyone can try one... Not only that, they really do go over them. I've already waited 6 weeks for my JO5, and I'll wait another 3 months If I have to. Dan actually hand picked me the lightest one and then made sure the UK supplier were aware. Dan also mentioned it would be another 3-4 months before he had stock after the run he had in his workshop. I like that....
 15.
tbh your ears should be hurting way before it starts making strange noises... which is prior to something going terminally wrong! If you're not sure I'll take it off your hands and you'll even make a profit.
Ah good! Thing is Im really impressed by this cab and I realise why their prices are normally quite high. BUT, as of today me and the lady have had an awesome offer on a really upmarket flat in London, so it might be a case of having to sell it on or trade down for smaller stuff in the very near future. I think If I gig it though, I won't be able to part with it! Its so well built and so bloomin light! I also have a lot of gas for the Shuttle 9.0 and I can't have both really....Id have to wait now this flat has come up. Hmmm!
 16.
I'm no techie type and this is just an educated guess but could the fact that the combos have the amp positioned down the back of the combo mean that the working gubbins (see not a techie ) of the amp are 'fairly' close to the driver magnet which being Neo magnets has a stronger magnetic field than traditional magnets, leading to increased hiss... the cabs/amps wouldn't have this issue as they are no where near as close! Just punting it out there as a suggestion.
Good theory! I did read in the little manual that came with the cab that the tecamp neo speakers have really good shielding on them, stopping the field...maybe I have read it completely wrong! Maybe the problem is just the smaller combos (eg 1x12, 1x10). Edit...just realised another 2x10 is doing the same. Hmmm!
 17. PS....it seems to be just the combos hissing...is it due to the small driver?
 18.
You're welcome! Every now and again we get some amazing deals in and this was one of them. It is actually really enjoyable to see the response like this from true bass players. I've noticed a comment about buzzing, was this an isolated case? If anyone has any issues, again, please let me know.
Thanks for such quick and reliable service Mark; its good to see that this gear was indeed brand spanking new and pristine and still in the Tecamp boxes If you get anymore...or any other high end makes...please let us all know! Gareth
 19. Its just the same, in my eyes, as Sadowsky charging £1800 for a Metro Bass. Doesn't matter what country, as lets face it, its still a more budget version. I'd love a USA Lakland, but it ain't gonna happen! I've tested a few, and I have one on order, and believe me the quality, finish, and overall feel of the Lakland Skylines is top notch indeed!
 20. Any views with anyone on how the M212 will handle a Shuttle 9.0?! Im mainly going to use the LM3, but Im thinking the Shuttle 9.0 might be on the cards soon to use with my 8 ohm cabs. Im thinking that 900W into a 600W cab might be pushing it. I wont actually be turning it up full....but you know what Im getting at.
 21. The 75 Reissue ...mmm! That and the 62 P Reissue are the main areas of GAS for me.
 22. Ive heard the Landmark heads....really good. I still rate the Sansamp pedals highly, BDDI is perfect for punk and metal. Nice to see a good selection of amps in that photo...and some Orange
 23.
any update on the hiss? mines the same. i've never had an amp or rig that hasn't had some level of hiss. but playin in my room this hiss is noticable over my playing. which is a little bit worrying..
Ah man Try it out a few times. Hiss can be really annoying. Maybe its just a small bug with these combos....ive not actually heard a Tecamp amp yet!
