1. Oohhhhh.......... I think that says it all.
2. Dear All, this is my Band cover of Commodore's Brick House recorded on my 62 Jazz Bass. https://soundcloud.com/user-76590606/brick-house
3. Don't be put off. The label 'pro' just means they don't have a proper job like all the other bass players in the world. There are dicks in every sphere of life. If on the other hand you/other members couldn't keep up then its a lesson to go away and practice. All positive.
4. If people are paying you to play its only respectful to make sure that you have an immediately interchangeable instrument. That's it. Have two the same, or in terms of your playing style and comfort, the same; very few people will notice sonic difference unless really out of the ball park.
5. If you know Marty Prior he runs with one as his main squeeze. I have on eon order but won't arrive before November.
6. Just Bought a Steinberger Synapse from Keith. Arrived quickly, well packed and exactly as promised. Deal with confidence.
7. Well check out the aer amp three 2x8 and a bass beast in a small sealed box

9. Stick with it. The important thing is that you started with a proper instrument which means it won't get in the way of your learning. Get it set up properly and play it for a year. If you change you mind then fair do's.
10. No pictures.............. no interest........
11. Banjo.............bloody reverse rolls.....

Just to let you know. Having spoken to Moollon, there will be no more dealers for the guitars. YJ is only making a limited number of instruments per year and isn't; changing that. Everything is hand made by him and will stay that way.

OK done it. Decision made one classic J 5ver in Oly white. tort guard incoming before the end of the year.............
14. The reason these instruments are so valued is that they sound the bollox. Play 'em but do it respectfully. Don't take your granny crowd-surfing but if she still sings like Ella let her sing!

Thanks, I had not seen this
16. Yeah. I didn't get these either until I had to do a line which required tapping and slapping in close succession. You can't mute unlness you have 3 hands. It just knocks out the back harmonics and keeps the sound cleaner. I wouldnt use it in general but it just a neck mute instead of a bridge mute.

Next year I'm going over to South Korea and I'm properly tempted to bring back a Moolon. I have heard some very good things about them and I was wondering are there any users out there. I'd really like a 5 sting 60's style oly white Jazz and its temping....
19. Lownote, tbh I cant remember exactly how old the bass is it has to be knocking around 20 years but it was, and I am sure still is a really sold beast. This is a real players sixer no a tarty boutique bollx The neck is flatish to compensate for the width. In my old function band I used to lap out Papa don't Preach on a low C and it used to cut through like a hot knife. Its also sweet at the top end articulate. If I didn't own 13 basses it would be coming back.
20. Hi if you are thinking of buying the one for sale on her from Leschirons.............. I owned it from new and sold it to him. The original purchase price from PMT in Romford was £1,100.00 It was my may bass for 7 or 8 years before being kept under the bed for another 8. It was as solid as can be. Nice tone, never went out of tune and slapable - Which may sixers aren't. You can also trust Leschirons 100%
21. The law is quite explicit. The goods don't cease to be your responsibility until they arrive safely. Insurance helps - bomb proof packing is better. I also photograph my packing and the final box to prove that it was protected to the point the the courier would have had to have failed in the fundamental execution of their job and allowed the package to be subject to abuse. Then you can sue.
22. I was going to get one but went for the QU16. I found working off a pad restrictive. Only a personal view. I got a stand so I could 'hang' the QU16 and its takes up much less space. Can still use a pad if I want.
23. Three suggestions in that budget, Sire..........Sire.....and Sire
24. Reed Audio..........48 hour service no arguments. excellent product. He used to Work for ACS and frankly does it better IMHO.
