I've quite fancied a Danelectro for a while but passed on one the other night. It was gonna be shipped in a gig bag but I don't see how a hardboard body would make it to Scotland intact. The bass was the Wild Thing model. Anyone had one and if so how fragile are they ?

Heard this from a fella in Denmark and it might go someway to explain the dekos. It seems Thomann don't check all orders, the volumes way too high, they check a sample load from each delivery and decide if it's a good batch or not.With the no questions return policy it must be cheaper that way. Congrats on the P/J Coldflows and Bartelby fingers crossed for you bud.

Tom Russell was interviewing them today at the AC/DC gig and judging from comments and posts on Tom's FB page they were great. Looks like a very successful weekend for them.

I think they're supporting AC/DC at Hampden today. Dc fans are in for a treat cause that was a great set.

AT Apply the tip of your soldering iron to the truss rod nut,it'll expand allowing the oil to seep in better. Agree it's the wrong picture used for the black Jazz,no deko warning in the description.

Depends on the model as there's the unmentionable and the latest very very unmentionable To be on the safe side I'd go with the Rickenfakers. Think I did the Harley Benton RB414 outside but you can't put links to it or mention the " other ".

That's a helluva long time Andy. Even when I've ordered out of stock items they always arrive before the expected in-stock date. 32 channel desk they'd be waiting on the weightlifter delivery driver getting back from his holidays

Do Thomann ship through Calais ? I placed an order last Saturday morning and it was delivered Tuesday morning. Could be deliveries to Scotland go a different route,maybe by air because that's very fast considering no-one works Sundays at Thomann. Sunday night orders always arrive Wednesday morning. 56 hours from order processed email to signing for goods being the norm.

For less than £300 I don't think you've done bad at all. A wee bit more spent on pickups etc and it'll be a fantastic bit of kit,certainly looks the part Most flaws will only get noticed when you point them out to folk so forget about them and enjoy your bass. Happy NBD
