1. I'm very much 'in love' with my recently bought Streamliner...I kind of see it a bit like a well behaved Orange Terror. But then I love my Carvin BX1500 which is super clean and a complete opposite to the Genz...oh and both are super loud
  2. Ditto...my functions band did Hot Stuff, thankfully dropped it since...but blimey i needed redbull to get up to speed
  3.
Definitely a darkish tort plate needed.
Yes was thinking the Doc
  4. Courtesy of the original evilbay pics Tort plate perhaps ? Loving the jazz width neck on these too
  5. Just used this bass at rehearsal tonight, totally incredible...and I'm not a big Precision fan either
  6. Ahh, that made for a nice bedtime read. Glad you've found love mate
  7. PM's replied. Happy to courier if buyer covers costs and the Eden does not have a tweeter.
  8.
Harley benton
They are a lot of cab for the money. I've heard mixed things about the actual white HB branded speakers however the cabs themselves are excellent quality, solid and really well built. With the speaker upgrades these are really awesome cabs and well worth a punt under £100 per cab, i just don't need or use them....the speakers alone would cost more

  10.
Wondered what these were like
Which ones?
  11. Farida P, eBay £95. Natural Ash & Rosewood neck. I knew it was going to be probably good from the general Farida love on here...but crikey this Precision bass is truly amazing. I wanted something cheap to do party gigs etc but got a bass that plays like a £500+ bass, really low action (lower than my 74 Jazz) and spot on intonation too. The neck is smooth, and more jazz width like, which is a real bonus for me. The sound is phat and defined, articulate, good tone control through out...a real soul/funk monster indeed. The build quality is up there with previous Laklands that i have owned, maybe i just got lucky...but bloomin heck i wasn't expecting it to be this good, this is up there with MIA Fenders too i kid you not -may have to try some flats on it......right its back to some P playing.
  12.
looks like a great deal here
Cheers mate, yes they're all good cabs to be honest but i just have to many...in fact i've still got 4 other so called 'spare speakers'

  15. Man this pains me....i still really want this for my reggae rig. Surely someone must travel Manchester to Devon...or somewhere close at least ...i'd buy it now!
  16. Loved the first outing of my Genz Benz Streamliner 900 last night into my Genz Benz NX2 212t cab, warmth and clarity! Although probable favourite rig of past has to be an Eden WT800 into a Warwick 6x10...awesome dub rig

    SOLD

I'm looking for a pedal to trigger some samples and i am led to believe the Boss RC2/3 or Jamman can do the job? Can add a little cash if necessary. My Qtron+ was a birthday present in January so has not been used much, great pedal though - just not what i need right now. Complete with box & power supply (12V)
  20. Gotta love The Studio 1'...best sounds ever
  21.
I got one recently and you're not wrong - lots of bass for the money. There's an entire thread on them in this forum :-)
Temptation
  22.
I'm finding it hard to resist purchasing one of these bad boys - I play reggae and I need a deep, smooth tone using heavy gauge flatwounds. just 2 questions to any owners out there: 1) What do they weigh? 2) How is the tone from the neck pick up soloed with the tone rolled off?
With you bro...i shouldn't have read this The Tort on green did it
  23.
I would also consider one of these inna familyman stylee: http://www.dv247.com...f-green--201561
Wow dready, that looks quite a bass for the money...hmmm do i need 4 basses ....did you get one?
