1.
this is the one that did it for me : how much blow got smoked to this, i shudder to think.
I hear you man
2. Haha awesome thread. Great to hear from you on basschat Dave, i saw you at Exeter last year with Orlando...is he still on drums? Being a bit of a Gong and Howlett nerd fan (a few conventions ahem!) I was wondering how Gong would now sound with the new line up...anyhow you did me proud and the new guitar guy (name escapes me) was great too - brilliant . Thanks for sharing your rig wizardy too...i must confess to geeking over it to my uninterested wife enroute home after last years Exeter gig. Is Steffi Sharpstrings still part of the equation? I've followed some of his solo stuff which sounds great......Xilddx you'd like that too.
3.
80's Gong wannabes
Haha...Pot Head Pixies perhaps
4. FWIW, I had an early OTB, think it was a 2010. It died a few months back and the amazing Orange pretty much gave me a new amp, minus the main cover bit which had my name on....and it was even out of warrenty - brilliant service Anyhow i rememer the earlier 2010 model breaking up a lot earlier than this more recent model, 11 - 12 o'clock. I do however prefer the newer amp persoanlly and it does also break up around 1 - 2 o'clock with my speakers.
5. Any trades considered
6. Yes boss, top band! Love the Ozrics, an all time favourite. Yes RIP Roly, fantastic bass player . - superb b-lines A personal fave: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=707mdNUpcGE

10. I have a 74, same as yours but with a maple neck...amazing sounding basses - I've owned several jazzes in the past yet nothing comes close to the sound of these...cured my GAS for life (i hope)...have a bump for a great bass

16. £200 (not £325) Bass guitar amp: Eden Nemesis 650NA, Superb sounding pro amp from Eden, 500W at 4 ohms and 650W at 2 ohms - Very loud. A few battle scars from gigging but nothing serious. A few plastic nuts have broken off the rear sockets but all sockets work well. 2U case bag not included but i do have a 3U old one you can have for an extra £10. Welcome to try out. Eden manual: http://www.eden-elec...%2008102005.pdf This is a quality bass amp for £200 . courier or Collect from Plymouth Devon - could meet Exeter for diesel money. May trade towards a 6x10 or 8x10 cab, possible 2x12 or 18", 4 ,5, 6, string bass, Boss RC2 + cash my way, decent envelope filter...in fact try me on anything, why not
17.
Very nice - say hello to Spikey for me
+1 ,....sounding great
18.
What rack bag are you using in that pic - I like the fact that the amp is set back quite deep? Don't suppose you could tell me what it is could you?
If your talking about mine then the rack bag is an SKB 2U, great case...even has an internal pocket too Also the BX1500 is 10lbs according to the manual. Hey Molan, I like the family company ethos and I'd quite like an 18" cab if Carvin can get them over
19. Can't believe no one wants the brilliant Lakland...not even a single bite...have Lakland's joined the 'uncool' wall ???
20.
Lol. Im expecting a full gig report later, you know...
Astounding! Loved it, really cut through well. Also really like the 2x10's stacked sideways - great idea . In comparison to my Orange Terror this amp is much more modern & hifi sounding so i may get a sansamp or similar to warm it up a bit but other than that, brilliant. I'll try it with my other cabs to see how it pans out with them too and see if that adds any more warmth. The headroom is also amazing, I didn't go past 3 on the vol all night and that was competing with a 7 piece band with horn section....and i actually thought i was too loud. Anyhow i got some good compliments for a change and our drummer was annoyed that i can drown him out now . Would i swap it for an amp costing twice as much...er nope! She's a keeper (for now ).
21. Or £400 with original Bartolini pick ups bargain!
22. I'm still grinning having loaded the car and smiling how freakin light this amp is...kept thinking the amp had fallen out my 2U case
