1. Lots of PM's & replied...still ere'
2. Just bought a new bass fretless bass that i really loved so i've got to sell these to cover my costs before the wife divorces me: Here's the tech info on the 50's P http://www.squierguitars.com/products/sear...rtno=0303080502 & Info on the Vm Jazz fretless http://www.squierguitars.com/products/sear...rtno=0326608500 Both guitars are really good condition maybe the odd tiny mark but nothing at all major, in fact the fretless is like new. Pictures availalbe on request, just PM me you email. I think i may have lost the finger rest on the 50's P but i'm sure i can dig it out. I will sure miss the CV Precision but will probably buy another when i can afford one. Fretless plays like a dream...just read the reviews! No cases but will be very well packed, bubblewrapped and boxed & sent insured bargain £150 each plus £20 P&P (No trades) - Here for a week before the evilbay
3. I think i'm getting a name for myself as being consistently wrong in my facts, spelling, and the naming of bass gear . It is indeed a 50's P - i've taken the pickguard off mine and its lovely all blue!!! http://www.squierguitars.com/products/sear...rtno=0303080502
4. Cheers guys, I'm really looking forward to receiving them now. Have spent the last hour reading stuff on TB and the consensus seems all good from what i have read so far. I'll update/review when i've got them put in my jazz if anyones interested?.
5. oh dear, no one heard of Delano
6. Got the VM Squire off Gust0o in the end for a good price, like new also. Plays really well, good Jaco tone on the bridge although i cannot play like Jaco for shizzle. All round very impressive, smooth play good warmth from the neck pick up too - well worthy of a try folks if they have one in your local muso store.
7. I've got a Squire Classic Vibe[s] 51[/s] 50's Precision & a VM Jazz fretless. Both are really great but i love the 51 P to bits-sweet as!
8. Although i'm not a punk player i did used to jam along with Babylons Burning by the Ruts to help my finger speed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCkNu9OxThc
9.
Do you mean the Bass Terror? The Tiny Terror is the 15-watt all-valve amp. Bass terror is the one with the class D power section 500w. I have one, they are awesome. Funnily enough I've seen a couple people here recently trying to swap them for littlemarks.
Ah yeah, nice one...i'm a dumb ass sometimes I'm indeed looking for a Bass terror.
10. I've bought some of these babes via ebay, Delano Jazz Bass Pickups JMVC 4 FE/M2 SET, - have peeps here had much experience using them? Tone etc (particualrly low end)
11. SOLD
12. Whats the neck heal dimensions? cheers
13. Gus is a great chap to deal with. Just bought a Squire fretless from him, spotless & like new-well packed + fast delivery. He even did a video of the instrument fro me, how nice is that!. Deal with in confidence....nice one matey
14. I'm still up for LMII trade if you fancy it?
15. +1 for the CV's, I owned a VM jazz and it looked nice, but in my opinion it didn't play aswell as the CV jazz's do. Have you tried a CV 51p (The blue one) - i've got one of these and it is amazing.
16. If i need to use my full rig, which is rare, i use two SVT 4x10 HLF cabs, it is insanely dub heavy (as well as physically) and no need for a fan to cool me on stage with the amount of air this setup shifts . However i have only used the full rig 3-4 times in the last year - i find one 4x10 is more than often enough for pubs, clubs and most festivals. I use the 4x10's on seperate channels of the amp - it is cookin' loud...but perfectly right for my 3 note sound system style bass belly pumpin vibe - i like to feel it too
17. I've got Leopard & Logic 8 running on an Emac which i paid £80 for off ebay. Running 2x1GB memory strips. I haven't directly recorded on it yet but i have mixed on it fine, plenty of Audio units running too.
18. I've been really happy with D'addrio chromes found them much better than Elites & Rotosounds but that is all i have tried to date http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/...45-100-Long/E79
19.
hi guys, thinking about buying a 4 pro and was wondering what u lot recon the 2nd hand value of one of these is? also iveheard that you cant replace that speakon cable if u loose it and that its the oneway to bridge it to full power? is that true? cheers guys
Hi, Not sure really on the 2nd values however these are good deals with a warranty: http://www.whybuynew.co.uk/Ampeg-SVT4PRO-B...r-Amp-Head.html Great versatile amps, weigh a ton & a half, not sure they're as loud as Ampeg claim but the sound is totally worth it for a good warm Ampeg sound - i love mine. I also made my own Ampeg bridge cable up - see here (half way in) http://www.ampeg.com/faq.html Good luck

SOLD

Fantastic funky bass & a great Sade video too. Good luck with the sale
21. Hi i've been thinking about a Orange Terror bass as i prefer a bit more warmth to my sound. I've got a MB LMII with Markbass bag if you interested? - willing to swap back if either of us are not happy?
22.
See if this is still for sale: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...=tokai+fretless I had serious GAS for that when it was posted! I wouldn't worry about lined/unlined, it's not really any more difficult in the lower registers and an unlined bass looks so much nicer!
Ah cheers for that, i've PM'd matey about the bass.
23. I've got Lindy Fralins in my Lakland 5 er...awesome tone.
