1. If the EP2 is still around i would be interested.
2. Nice one (or should i say raspek) for getting to Jamaica! Best advice i got was to try and relax behind the beat, smile and feel the vibe. Get a really good bass sound too, one that you can feel more than you can hear it may be worth learning a few classic riddims too as that is a big thing in Jamaican music. Classic riddims will make a good practice and a bit of good reggae knowledge - look on youtube for Stalag, Swing easy, Real Rock, Sleng Teng, Drifter, Cuss Cuss, Full Up (As in pass the kutchie/dutchie ), Queen of the minstrels, Revolution riddim, Promised land, One drop etc etc...there's thousands of riddims but jus learn a couple of the classics as mentioned, many a singer will put a version on the riddim-i play with 3-4 singers doing different vocal versions but with the same music, t'is most economical . Here's a band i play with doing a version on Queen of the Minstrels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VYQEjQF4L0
3. Bought the most amazing Musicman ray off Mick, a diamond gentleman to deal with. Buyers can buy in confidence. Thanks Mick
4. How many channels can you record at once into Cubase?
5. ah, typical...i've just bought a Stingray & Tobias Pro 2 days ago or would have had this back somewhere in the equation...i've missed this funk bass!. Good to see the same inuslation tape that the owner before me had put on it too . All mods etc were done before my time but i do love that EMG set up, great tones. Good luck with the sale mate...this is a cracker and the bass that changed my opinion about Warwicks for ther better!
6. Every reason to buy a Stingray 4...booom (wish i could play like this !)
7. Nice one, yeah looks great with the black pickguard
8. It took about 6 weeks for this pickguard to arrive from the USA, in that time i've sold the bass so this is surplus to needs. Brand new from Jeanie pickguards, fits Korean made Skyline Duck Dunn only. It BWB 3 ply and looks to be very good quality. I've just pulled this picture off the net to give you an idea, better than the white pickguard in my opinion. £30 posted seems a good deal.
9. In no particular order: Roly Wynn (From early Ozric Tentacles) Mike Howlett (Gong) Aston Familyman Barret (The Wailers) Bootsy Collins Jaco Pastorius
10. Measured with a plastic vernier ruler - the heal is 63mm and height before the fret board at the heal is 22mm. If need anything else let me know.
11.
I have to say that the Lakland JO5 is one of the basses I would really love to own again in the future. Absolutely fantastic. Have a free bump, sir!
I nearly recently traded my JO5 for a Ray...Sooooo glad i didn't...this is definitely one of basses i know i'd miss big time if it was gone - great basses. Have a bumper.
12. Despite 30 watchers, countless Q's, the Laky didn't sell this time round on the evilbay so still available to those who are interested. Think i may keep it though if it doesn't sell as i played it this morning and got a bit attached....again
13.
Yeah, a generic hard case. I think these basses predated the Ernie Ball branded cases.
Cheers & PM'd
14. Dioes it have a case?
