5. ah, bummer i was after a Tortoiseshell or black. However i noted the Hohner PU's with LED etc...i need something like this for my Hohner B-bass as the elctrics are shot and i've lost a PU. How much would you be looking at for this? And iassume the PU's are for a Jazz bass...as that will fit my B-Bass? Cheers

14. The GI has no sounds in it itself but you can use it with your MAC/PC (comes with USB lead) or external sound module/synths etc with midi in. I used it to record on Logic & Reason & other soft synths and also to play into my Roland MC909 Groovebox, it is weird playing Piano on your bass but it unlocks a whole new world. The pick up also allows you too blend your bass sound with other sounds or flick between midi only or bass only. You can even set it up so that you have individual sounds on each string of your bass!! Great piece of kit...i know i'll miss this when its gone and will probably end up buying another one some day. All this kit would cost over £400 to buy new currently.
15.
i will take this! I'll drive down from Exeter. Paypal?? Thanks
PM'd mate
16. It's closer to the equator down here If you can find a courier???
17. Recently bought this off another B/cer but now i have an Ampeg so this is surplus and i would rather someone else enjoy it than sit in our practice unit and evolve into a coffee table. Great punchy cab etc, wheels & pull bar, 4ohms & 800Watts. Been gigged a bit with scars (nothing major) but all in all a great solid 8x10 cab. All the specs are here: http://www.samsontech.com/products/product...2&brandID=3 £150 collect from Plymouth or organsie your own courier (quite heavy though) may consider trade for Squire bass, Hohnerr B Bass/Jack bass or 8ohm 2x10 or 4x10 cab.
18. I've always liked the Hohner B Basses & Jack Basses, very well made instruments and cheap as chips on ebay. I have a battered B-bass but would like another. However i have recently tried the Squire Biffy Cliffy (who ever he/she is) bass, the lake placid blue one as someone has added earlier, and wow i was blown away. I a/b'd against a Fender in the local shop and i still much preferred the Squire, they sound soooo good aswell as looking good too....just need some cash and i'm going that way me thinks!
19. I tried a Lake Placid Blue Jazz Squire (Buffy Guiro Sig model...or some endorsed geeza i've never heard of anyhoo) in Exeters mansons last weekend and i was blown away. Not bothered about the endorsment but the play, feel and even the sound was superb.......i'm currently trying to negotiate with the wife !!!
20.
You really can't go far wrong with a MusicMan Stingray! I love mine, and huge ass end...
+1....everyone should own a Ray at least once - My first decent bass was a 98 ray and i've gone full circle via J's,, P's Ibbys & back to a 79 Ray with a big warmer bottom....something about them
21.
how much for it by itself?
What the guitar pick up?
