I had a pair of V3 four strings. Gigged a white one with a black as back up - terrific basses with a really great preamp imo. Sold them when I moved back to fives and n all fairness I'd likely have had this passive version if I didn't need to shift a few first. GLWTS!

NOW SOLD Up for sale is my Vintage Sunburst Ray 35H with Sterling deluxe gig bag. This is not getting playtime over my natural H so looking to change things up a bit. Owned by me from new and is one of the newer models with the roasted neck and Stingray 5 logo on headstock. Sweet bass, plays and sounds great. Beautiful dark roasted neck, I think the sunburst is over a mahogany body. The weight is 4kg which is a bonus! Everything structural,mechanical and electrical is in excellent condition and works as it should. There is a scratch running from the truss rod access across the pickguard and onto the treble side horn from when I first got the bass in August 2022. The truss rod felt like it was stuck on. I stupidly forced the issue with the result that the truss rod now turns fine, but I marked the bass. The scratch can only really be seen when you turn it in the light and not from more than a few feet away. It is a fine scratch and may be able to be buffed out but I don't have the know how. Silly thing to do with a brand new bass but you live and learn. The pickguard alao has very light scratching on it. I've looked online and these currently retail new for £1200 - £1300, cheapest being Thomann at £1219 Audition and collection preferred in Market Drayton, Shropshire. Could possibly meet Stoke,Crewe, Shrewsbury,Telford etc Thanks for looking! Keir

I just got a black/maple M5-24 and I'm somewhat smitten with it. I can normally nitpick a fault or something I'm not happy with but I can't with this Japanese Sadowsky. They really are superb instruments. GLWTS!

On my luggage scales it's 4.58kg Weighed it about half a dozen times and it kept coming back to this weight or thereabouts.

Really don't want to do this as I just bought it from Josh on here but with a newly arrived Sadowsky Modern 5 string in the house, I need a rethink and rationalisation of my bass gear. Bass is exactly the same as per Josh's sale post. Nordstrand pickups with 3 band EQ. Brilliant neck. Poplar burl top is very pretty. Bass is very light and is extremely well put together and comes with the Ibanez gig bag. Bass can be auditioned in Market Drayton between Shrewsbury and Stoke. Will box up for courier if buyer arranges their own service and level of cover etc

**Withdrawn from sale. Too nice to let go!** Up for sale is my Sterling Ray35 in natural ash. A superb bass that captures the essence of a StingRay 5 for half the money. I've had a fair few USA StingRay 5s and this can hold its own with those. And of the half dozen Ray35s I've owned I've done more band work with this one despite having more basses to choose from these days. I've just overspent and need to start listing a couple of basses. May list the Ibanez SR1605 I just got off here too. The bass has some discolouring on the fingerboard and some small marks here and there. The Pickguard has markings which are commensurate with it being a gigging/ well used bass. Overall excellent condition. Didn't come with a bag when I bought it used from Bass Direct but can add a Deluxe Fender gig bag. Bass can be auditioned in Market Drayton between Stoke and Shrewsbury Will package for courier if buyer arranges their own service and level of cover.
