    Selling one of my two Tribute JB-2 basses, this one is a 2008 build in excellent condition with a nice comfy Jazz bass profile maple neck, Alnico J single coils pickups and G&L saddle lock bridge. No playing, mechanical, structural or electronics issues with the bass at all. A previous owner fitted a tug bar on the treble side and the bass is now fitted with flat wound strings (can put roundwound back on if preferred) Nice and light in weight **SOLD** Buyer can arrange their own courier or I will get prices for shipping

    My pair of Tribute JB-2s are pictured earlier in this thread. I like this model because it is a Jazz bass with more of a P body shape about it. Personally I think it’s a simple, clean, not overly fussy, yet quite elegant looking bass and would say the sunburst/maple combo probably looks the best combo out of the three options available for the JB-2 As far as LB100 vs JB-2 goes, that would depend on whether you want a P type bass or a Jazz bass that doesn’t have an offset body and pickguard. Also a sunburst JB-2 is a bit cheaper than an LB100 if that is important to you.

    Owned the SRFF806 for about a year. Amazing neck/set up, action was crazy low. Feeling a spot of seller’s regret thinking about how well that bass played😕

    I bought a 2019 sonic blue Tribute JB-2 from Andertons in January and I’ve likely been using it the most out of my basses, with my band. Set up wasn’t too clever from the shop but I got it playing to my tastes within a couple of hours. Pictured with my ‘08 sunburst Tribute JB-2 strung with flats

    **Withdrawn from sale** Silo 3 model made in Indonesia. One of the last ones made with the Silhouette logo on the headstock before this model was discontinued. Plastic parts have been changed to plain black covers on the front of the guitar for a cleaner look. Trem has been tightened down though can be set up to buyer’s taste.The fingerboard edges have also been rolled for a great feeling neck which has a chunkier profile than you might expect. The guitar cost me £249 in July 2019 . Selling now for £150. Guitar comes with original Sterling shipping box. Happy to pack up safely for shipping if buyer arranges their own courier.

    Microbrute SE comes with official gig/carry case, PSU,manual,preset and blank overlay cards and a couple of patch cables for the onboard mod matrix patch bay. There are a couple of small marks along the top edge and corner otherwise in great condition. Fully working with no issues at all. Great little analogue mono synth with super fat bass and leads. Also has an 8 note step sequencer with 8 memory locations for user sequences. Also has audio in for shaping via the onboard filter now £160 inclusive of postage thanks for looking! Keir

    Mark sold a TC Electronics BC208 2x8 cab to me. Arrived on time well packed in original packaging and at a really good price for a mint condition unit. Great comms letting me know when it shipped, tracking number etc. Would have no hesitation in dealing with Mark again. A credit to Basschat and a top bloke🙂

    I have a SBMM Ray34CA in mint green with rosewood. The neck doesn’t feel as deep front to back as the USA Sterling’s from my memory of them. the Ray 34CA is a bass I really like and use a fair bit. The 2EQ sounds really fat but still with that top end zing .The rest of the band have all commented on how good that bass sounds.

    Wholeheartedly agree. The neck carve is my favourite in all of bass land. I had a USA Sterling in that same colour with the maple neck. Fantastic bass but I ended up trading it away to eubassix. I’ve also had a white sparkle with rosewood and a honeyburst with rosewood over the years. Currently eyeing the black 2HH on here. Ah...if only funds would allow it😕

    1996 G&L L-5500 (the one with the EMG 40dc pickups and BTC active circuit) Played one in McCormacks Music in Glasgow around 20 years or so ago and liked it. Finally got one and I’m pleased as punch with it. Bit of a weighty bugger but I’m sure this thing is going to sound great at my next band practice. Sounds great solo’d too. Just not like any G&L I heard/played/owned before.

    Sold my Cort GB75JH five string to Quent. Great guy to deal with who told me he wanted it then made swift payment . Also was good exchanging PMs backwards and forwards with him. An absolute gent! highly recommended and a credit to Basschat. cheers Keir

    **NOW SOLD** Owned by me since December 2018. I am the second owner. No issues with the bass other than some buckle rash on the back and some small dings here and there. great playing neck, in fact one of the best playing necks I’ve ever had on any bass I have owned. Action can be got stupidly low. The bass is available for audition just outside Ayr, 30 miles south of Glasgow.Will package securely if buyer arranges their own courier. Payment would need to be by bank transfer or by cash on collection. Keir
