1. Bump. After a few recent conversations, I've decided to drop the price down to £1,100.
2. Hi folks, I'm playing at a local charity event organised by my bosses - if you're in / around Basingstoke & fancy some Blues whilst raising money for a good cause, do read on! The bands & comedian are playing for free, the bar has been provided for free (not free beer though!) and the hall cost has been covered by my employers so all ticket sales go to the charity. 3. Dusty picked up a Lakland Skyline Bob Glaub from me earlier today - a bass that he almost had when it was first up for sale! Glad I could pass it on to him. Smooth transaction, came down to pick the bass up despite it being probably quite out of the way. As all above, great to deal with. Enjoy the bass!
4. Just bought an amp flight case from Dave, prompt delivery, hassle free & friendly deal - cheers!
5. Just grabbed a Pandora PX4D from Graeme, well packed & promptly delivered - many thanks! A recommendation from me
6. If I hadn't bought one of these on Saturday, I'd have snapped it up! I tried to get this the first time round. Fantastic basses...
7. Just bought a Lakland Duck Dunn from billge - the bass is in immaculate condition, communications throughout were great & he even met me halfway at short notice. Deal with confidence, highly recommended! Thanks again
8. Hi all, Up for sale is my TC Electronic RH750 + RC4 pedal + TC gig bag for it. Only selling as I've recently bought a Genz Benz Streamliner 600. It's in good condition, however it's suffered from the issue of cracked buttons (the mute button) / dials. I have a complete set of replacements from TC, but don't have the tools (or the confidence!) to do replace them myself. I am trying to find someone in my area to fit the replacements for me, but not had much joy yet. However in the meantime, something has come up that I'd like to buy so I'm putting it for sale at a low price with the issues, should you wish to fit them yourself / know someone who could. You do need to take the unit apart to replace the buttons on the front, but not for the dials - they can just be taken off & new ones put on. Priced to sell at £550 (excluding delivery), based on the buttons/dials. If it doesn't sell before I find someone to replace them, then it'll be going back on at the going rate for all 3 (~£650 - £700). I have the original box for it. Any questions let me know. Photos available if you'd like! More info on the amp: http://www.tcelectronic.com/rh750/
9. All going well I'll join in again!
10. And sold, pending the usual! Cheers all
11. Certainly possible to post. I've been asked about the weight, it's 4.3kg on some kitchen scales. It certainly feels well balanced & light. I've also changed the case I'll provide - rather than the SKB (I'd need to buy another one afterwards), I'm going to order a new hard case for it as that'll also give me packaging materials. (something like this)
12. I'm pretty sure I'll regret this, but... Another bass has come up that I've been after for a few years, so this must go! This is an absolutely stunning bass in every way. It's extremely easy to play, looks beautiful & the upgrades were done very well. I picked it up from Stealth on here back in October (original thread) I had the Precision pickup replaced with a Seymour Duncan SPB-3 to get a sound I preferred. This is a higher output than the Nordstrand jazz pickup, so I will either, depending on the buyers preference: 1) Ship with Seymour Duncan still installed, and the Nordstrand Precision pickup included. 2) Have the Nordstrand put back in & I'll keep the SD one. (If you choose option 2, I'll need a chance to get it to my luthier to do the work) I'm asking for what I paid, which is £600 + delivery. This will include a new hard case. I can drop this to a padded gig bag if you want & drop the price a little. No trades, thank you. 13. Thanks for the offer, but I'm not after another Jazz, sorry!
14. Bump - no longer after a Genz Benz, but open to offers
15.
All turned out to be legit. Just me being paranoid. Now I deserve to feel bad for wasting time in paying these folks.
Not at all - anyone who is legit shouldn't have any problems with putting someones mind at rest
16. I know the owner of that, he got bored one afternoon & decided to cover it pink! Top bloke actually, if anyone's interested in it. It is indeed a beefy rig.
17. Sold an effects pedal to jjl, instant payment with fast & friendly comms throughout - another recommendation from me! Cheers
18. My neighbours are no longer happy thanks to Karl selling me his Streamliner 600. Not a single problem, great comms all the way through & even encouraged me to think about the purchase when I tried to snap his hand off for it! A solid recommendation from me
