1. Reported too. Have US basses ever had the truss rod access headstock end?
2. Ah, thanks for that - guess I'll have to wait for something more suitable then! Cheers
3. Ok, cheers for the info - it's a Stagg EUB with the stock strings, which are pretty high tension so I may consider going for them anyway - anything will be an improvement on what it's already got! I'll have a think...
4.
i reserve the right to say that is f***in gorgeous. great price also. Fenders are suppose to have dings.!
It is a great bass, had many many compliments on it. Bump!
5. Would these suit an EUB? Cheers
6. Final bump, after this I'll keep it
7. I'm afraid this is now sat on my lap! So has been sold.
8. I sold my Ampeg PF350 to joemarty recently - always quick to respond, extremely polite and made payment promptly. Would recommend to anyone Enjoy the amp!
9. Hi Mike - PM me with what you're after / offering! I have a potential buyer but it involves international delivery, which I'm not 100% confident with as it has a softcase. Cheers, Gareth
10. A couple more pics to come of the case, need to get them hosted etc.
11. Hi folks, I'm putting this up as a feeler. I'm not 100% certain I will sell yet, I still haven't made up my mind. However... I have an American Vintage Re-issue '64 Jazz bass in Olympic White. It's probably... 6 months old? At most? I initially bought a '74 version, but had to return it due to a wonky bridge cover (how it got past quality control I don't know). I went back to the store, tried out the other basses & took this one away. But I just can't seem to get on with it... It's just not for me. I'm not sure what it is - it may be the neck isn't quite to my taste, but I find myself always going back to my trusty precision bass. It has picked up a couple of dings, see photos attached. The worst is on the bottom of the bass, the others are minor. There are also two small black marks on the case. The full bass specs can be found here: http://www.fender.co...-olympic-white/

Alder body
Maple neck
Round-laminated rosewood fingerboard
American vintage 64 jazz bass single-coil pickups
Vintage-style heel adjust truss rod
Nickel/Chrome hardware
Mounted chrome pickup and “F” bridge cover
Fender flash coat lacquer finish
Any questions please let me know. Comes with original hard case & all the candy - I've not even opened the bags containing the cable / cloth / strings etc. Any questions let me know. Bass is in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Trials welcome. I can deliver at cost to the buyer. Asking for[s] £1,500[/s] [s]£1300 [/s]£1100. These seem to be around £1,800 new - I've not seen anywhere with one of these in stock since I bought this. I reserve the right to change my mind... ! 12. Just picked up a Lakland Skyline Bob Glaub P-bass from Stealth / Simon... Immaculate condition, lovely instrument. Great guy too! ^ The beer at the Chineham arms is quite good, and I'm not too far from there. Drop me a text if you'd ever like to meet up & chat bass! Cheers, Gareth

Alpher On Tour

I'd be interested!
14. I'm guessing you won't accept £20 a week instalments...
15. One band I dep in I chip in for rehearsals, but I gig with them so it's all fair. Another band I played with once even drove a fair distance to get to me for a rehearsal & then still paid for the practice. But paying for the rehearsal when the band & other bassist will go & take all the credit? I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. If you get something out of it, then it may be worth it - i.e. getting to play challenging material or get to jam with great musicians. But for just going through the motions, not worth it.
16. Final pre-fleabay bump
17. Bought John's Tanglewood Travel E-Bass from him, very pleasant experience Quick, friendly comms & after he couldn't meet up to hand the bass over as initially planned, he posted it to me pronto. No postman was going to be able to damage the bass, it was packed extremely well! Bass was in perfect condition too Cheers!
18. Price drop bump, need to make room for another bass!
19. Price drop bump, need to make room for another bass!
20. Ok, because I've got one interested in each, I'm happy to split. The head would be available now, as I have a replacement, the cab is what I need for a little while longer (unless I can get something temporary sorted). I'll drop you both a PM a bit later. Cheers guys!
21. Hi folks, Please note: Available in November - I'm waiting on delivery of my new barefaced cab, after which this will be available straight away. I'm posting this now to try and get a sale lined up ready. Up for sale is my Ampeg PF350 & matching PF115-HE, along with padded cover for the cab (from Hot Covers). It's a great, lightweight combo that has had many many compliments on the sound from fellow musicians & punters alike. It's in good condition, all in full working order. There are a few marks/scratches on the head from being used & having things rested on it (cables, tuners, keys, wallet, money, whatever else is in my pocket when I gig) but nothing serious. I got the cover a few weeks after the cab, so it's always been protected when being transported. I've probably had it for close to 2 years from new, but it hasn't been used much over the last year - I bought a TC Electronic BG250 combo and used that instead for most gigs, if not all. For full specs: Ampeg PF350: http://www.ampeg.com...rtaflex/pf-350/ 350watts @ 4ohm gain / bass / mid / treble / volume controls Active/passive switch Limited Audio in & headphone out XLR line out & FX loop Ampeg PF115HE: http://www.ampeg.com...aflex/pf-115he/ 450watt @ 8ohm 1x15" speaker 1" compression driver Weighs 20kg, not very heavy! Photos to follow. The reason for sale is because I've upgraded to a TC Electronic RH750 head & barefaced cab, which is on order. The head hasn't been screwed into the lid of the cab like it can be, as I wanted to be able to use the head for practice & rest it on top of my desk. I still have the screws so this can be done if you'd like to. Due to size & weight I'd prefer collection from Basingstoke, Hants, but could possibly arrange a meetup - just drop me a message. If you'd like me to courier, it would probably cost around £30. Any questions let me know!
22. Where abouts in Hants are you based? Looking forward to pics too.
