1. Bump - will open up trade offers to anything Jazz or Precision (fretted), providing it's got 4 strings & cash my way!
2. Bump, possible trade offer already on the table but cash is king!
3. The clearout continues... ! Up for sale (or possible trade) is my Fender Tony Franklin fretless P in black. I got this from Old Horse Murphy a few months ago, but I very rarely play fretless & can't justify having 2 fretless basses - out of the two I have, I'm most certainly not letting the other one go. It plays & sounds fantastic, from a P-bass thump to a more traditional fretless sound with just the bridge pickup. Condition wise, it's pretty good although there are a few scratches on the lower horn/underside - see last photo. It comes with a Stagg hardcase, not the original unfortunately. It does have an official tort pickguard too though. I hope you don't mind me re-using your photos OHM, but they're better than I could take! Looking for [s]£900[/s] £800 + delivery. Trial & collection welcome from Basingstoke, Hants. I *may* be interested in trades for a cheaper (lightweight) Jazz + cash my way. Cash is king though! Original thread: http://basschat.co.u...fretless-p-bass Any questions let me know.
4. Up for grabs is my fretless Tanglewood TWRB E-bass,. I bought this back in October last year from oldslapper on here (thread). It's like a Kala U-bass, a bit bigger with a slightly longer neck. For something so small & light, it sounds huge! Because of the polyurethane strings, it's got a double-bass like sound to it. Complete with built in EQ & tuner, this is a great little bass. It's strung with Pahoehoe strings, but I'm pretty sure I still have the originals, which I believe are Aquila Thunderguts. Since buying it it's spent most of it's time sat there not being used - I took it to a blues jam once though, that was great fun! Sadly I don't have the time to play it as much as it should be played, and my driving test is fast approaching which means cash is short! Looking for £150, delivered to mainland UK. Trial & collection welcome from Basingstoke, Hants. I have the original box, so it will be wrapped & sent in that - there is no case for it. Not willing to ship abroad I'm afraid due to the lack of case. Any questions let me know! Photos: There is some wear on the back of the neck at the bottom, from the strap: One small ding on the bottom:
5. Judging by this photo (not on ebay), the wear near the neck is from picks & the upper bout is natural from his playing style, judging by the wear on the jazz:
6. That's a basschatter... I bought a bass from him & he was telling me about his pre-CBS precision & it's neck that's to die for. He's a top bloke & deal with confidence
7. I so want to buy this, replace the kettle in the kitchen with it & hook it up to my barefaced cab, so that when the girlfriend goes to make coffee in the morning...
8. These are spectacular basses - if I didn't have one already I'd be 'aving it! Stupidly light, but such a HUGE sound. Almost double bass like with the right settings. Karlfer, I'd been considering getting mine fretted too... But the bass is so beautiful, I can't do it!
9. Oh god, at band practice last night I was just thinking 'I should get a Flying V to match the guitarists custom made one'.... And I tried to bid on the Jazz (but didn't get a message to the girlfriend in time)...
10. If you could grab the weight of this one too that'd be great , cheers
11. Unless he sold it outside of ebay, and upped the price to prevent bids/buyers? Second hand, they go for £200 - £300. I have had one & indeed they are fantastic basses for the money, but not quite £1800 good...
12. I had one of these, they're fantastic - very easily comparable to my US Fender P. Very easy to play, great sounding. The only reason I sold it was to get a Duck Dunn model!
13. Never got around to ebay - so one more chance before it does. Photos: http://s30.photobucket.com/user/smaz87/library/Boss%20ME-50B
