  1. Profanity filter, I hate you.
  2. I have the 60 watt model, and do not find it “bright”. I’m guessing it doesn’t really sound like the big-donkey ones mentioned above. The EQ section is very clever, and can be used to dial a variety of sounds. I like it very much. It’s very solidly built and blooming heavy for its size. Buy with confidence I say.
  3. Talking Heads, two basses, Stop Making Sense, Take Me To The River. Cosmic.
  4. These are great amps. Clever, versatile EQ, and surprisingly loud. GLWTS.
  5. Jings, that’s lovely. Lucky I don’t live in Paisley any more, or I would be short 675 poonds Scots. GLWTS.
  6. Ah, lovely thing. I can almost smell it. I have two Tacoma guitars, and they are really great instruments. Any buyer will be very happy with this. GLWTS.
  7. I think you need a special punch to take apart a bicycle chain.
  8. Bicycle chain links work very well.
  9. That looks tremendous, as well as being great value for money! I love me some photoflame Yamaha!
  10. Ah, Marion Montgomery! Had the very great pleasure of being present at a recording session at BBC Scotland (about 1978?) when she recorded a number of song with the SRO. The SRO was full of the Glasgow jazz mafia. What a session. She was charming and completely without ego. My then girlfriend and I persuaded her to record a Michael McDonald song. Minute By Minute, I think. God bless Marion.
  11. If I Ever Lose This Heaven, AWB version. For the fifth time..
  12. There’s an isolated track somewhere on YouTube of Hugh McCracken’s guitar part on Hey Nineteen. It is a a subtle and sublime example of guitar playing. What a beautiful record Gaucho is, my lords.
