The last bass in the cull to make way for another thats become available...... She is based on a Epi Sunburst T-Bird i got off of bass chat last year and is very much in the modded department..... The mods are as follows..... My first attempt at a respray in Dakota Blue with nitro lacquer. As i say, it was my first attempt and i did not go for what you would call a glossy, showroom finish. However, the neck is smooth, theres dings, marks and I'm sure the sunburst will start to come through at some stage.... but thats what i wanted. I can supply more pics on request... The neck has been shimmed with the old credit card technique and there are no issues as far as I'm aware... action is just how i like it... Theres a Hipshot Supertone bridge, i have the original 3 point bridge if you require it.... There a mix of three Hipshot Ultralight tuners and a Hipshot cloverleaf Ultralight tuner ( I had them left over from another project) A KioGon wiring kit I moved the strap button to behind the neck plate and this solved any neck dive issues... Currently strung with Rotosounds The Toxico sticker can be removed if necessary Comes with a Epiphone hard case plus a 2 week old Thomann gig bag.... This bass was bought off of Basschat for a project that never got off the ground in the end..... Its been played at 2 rehearsals by me and sounded great but as i mentioned on one of my other For Sale threads i need cash as another bass i want has become available... Theres hardly a scratch on her.... Never had a issue with neck dive, possibly because i use a very wide, leather DSL strap Currently strung with a set of Rotosound Monel Flatwounds which give her a nice amount of 'thump" No hardcase but i do have a generic gig bag to put her in Im happy to deliver if your reasonably close to the East London/Essex border or a meet half way... She's up for sale as theres a chance I'm getting one of my old loves back, so unless its a P bass you have its cash only........ Plays fantastic, fast neck, the EMG's suited what i was playing, sadly i don't have the original pups..... Wilkinson bridge. Strung with D'Addarios i think, 45 - 105's White/mint green scratch plate, also have a tort plate which i will add to the deal as well. Hardcase She has all the dings and scratches you would expect for a bass her age... Marc.... I had one of the classic vibe 50's P basses a while back for a side project I was involved with, the build quality was fantastic.... Sadly, like the side project we drifted apart.......

She is beautiful to play....... Sadly the neck is a real issue..... A two hour gig on Saturday was a killer on my left hand, I guess the P Bass and me are destined never to get on..... Bank Holiday Bump....... Ps.... If anyone has a Spector laying around doing nothing...........!!!

Thursday bump..... Not sure if it's my phone but for some reason I can't see the bit about trades...... I'm after a Thunderbird, a Gibson or even a Epiphone Classic........
