  1. Sorry Robbie only just saw your reply. A PM would've been better! The bass I wanted to buy is no longer available so I'm withdrawing this from sale. Thanks very much for all the offers and interest shown, but this baby is staying with me a little while longer!
  2. LS-2's are a very quick and cheap solution to the problem, as you can put the effects in one loop, and leave the other loop empty, and then use the level knobs to blend the sound together. Personally I use an Xotic X-Blender, as it has a big blend knob you can turn with your foot (invaluable for me as I have a fuzz in the loop, and sometimes just want a soft fuzz and then a heavy fuzz later in the song, so can change with my foot and either gradually fade the Fuzz in or just turn the knob up while the pedal is off) and it also has volume, bass and treble controls for EQ'ing the blended signal, eg to match your clean sound, or a bit of boost, etc. Then having the footswitch to be able to turn off the blend and go to straight effects is also very useful. Great pedal! The best blender available IMO.
  3. I bought a DJ4 from Dave a couple of years ago and it was one of the best basses and deals I've ever had. Buy with complete confidence. Good luck with the sale matey! Cheers
  4. Good communication, and quick payment What more could you ask for! Recommended.

  8. Not tried one of those, I decided to go with the Aguilar Octamizer. Just waiting on it to be delivered...We should do some sound clips and compare results
  9. Should Have Unloaded Kash Ere. Regret buying all other basses
  10. DB112 sold. DB112NT still available.
  11. My 89 Fretless is really thin front to back and feels more like a Jazz where as the 06 fretted is the more typical MM shape. Both absolutely gorgeous and a joy to play!
  12. Dunno if you guys will be able to see this without being friends with the guy, but a video was uploaded to FaceBook of my band covering "Hysteria" on Saturday. By the way, my bass WAS heavily fuzzed out, but the camera just didn't pick it up. Sounds Earth-Shattering live! 13. Thanks mate! This bass is something special though, I mean, it even makes ME look like a semi-decent player!!
  14. A couple more pics of the bass at some gigs:
  15. Dimensions/weight? Cheers
  16. Sorry mate, I didn't mean to do that! That's what I paid for it so wanted to offer it back at the same price. Good luck with your sale!
  17. I don't think an Auto-Wah can pull off Cochise to be honest. I have the Subdecay Prometheus AND an MSD Earthquake Wah on my board for this very reason. The Cochise riff isn't just a straight forward Auto-Wah on a cycle, IMO you need the Manual to get the expression and phrasing of the Wah just right. Cheers
  18. I've found the best way to set up the Prometheus for Mutron style sounds is: LP Envelope Up Intensity on full Then, as you know, the Prometheus can be set up like a static filter. Turn the Depth all the way down, then use the frequency knob to select the frequency you want. I use this to set up how much sweep I want. Turn the Freq. knob until you are pleased with where you would like the cut off point to be, then you can turn the Depth up until the envelope suits your playing style. I personally have Freq. about 11 oclock, and Depth at around 10ish. Then just back off the Intensity knob (or not, depends what you're going for!) until you're happy with the ratio of filter:clean. Hope that helps! Cheers
  19. Thanks very much Rich for the kind words You heard the man! It's a STONKER! So get your wallets out
  20. It's in fantastic condition, comes with original box etc. It's pictured on my board which you can find the link to in my sig! £45 posted by next day delivery! Cheers
  21. Mint condition Stingray in a fairly rare colour with matching headstock, upgraded pickup, Hipshot De-Tuner with original tuner included, and it's mint condition original hardcase with the truss rod key and all bits and pieces for £800? Come on you know it's a steal!
  22. That's a shame. If they were both 8 Ohms i'd have been very interested!
  23. Are they both 4 ohms?
  24. Haha I guess I was reading into the comment a little too much!
