1. I know - If I had the choice I wouldn't sell it, it's such a gorgeous bass, but I can't be without an amp at all (meaning it's a bass that has to go), and this is the only one of my basses that I don't particularly need! Last in, first out etc... Thanks for the kind words dude.
2. *TRADED* REALLY didn't think I'd be selling this, but I just don't need a 5 at the moment, and I want to upgrade my Amp! Here we have a mint condition Lakland Skyline DJ5 in black sparkle, with rosewood fretboard. The original pickups, pickguard and passive control plate are included. It currently sports Norstrand P/J pups, and an Audere pre amp, with a custom made pickguard to fit. All mods are fully reversible, and cannot be detected in either it's original or modified state. Believe me this bass sounds monstrous, and there's so many options on board with the pre-amp, but I just don't really need a 5, and I want a new amp, so it's got to go! The only thing I would want in a trade is an Aguilar DB750, or a Sadowsky of some sort. 5 strings are welcome (I know I said I don't need one, but I love em all the same ), maple board is preferable. So I bought this a few weeks ago on here. I've just put a new set of GHS Bass Boomers on it, and had it set up, so I'm offering it up for the price of [s]£945 posted, or £920 picked up.[/s] Cheers James

Hi all

Nice of you to join us Dad!
4. Hate to be a pain but the rules state if you're looking for a sale you need to post a price...
5.
OBBM!
+1!
6. I've got the Octamizer, I'm GASing for the TLC Compressor, and now I want this too! I'm already using Aguilar amps and cabs - I think it's about time I had an endorsement
7.
This it? http://www.ronimusic.com/amsldowin.htm
Thats the one. One of the best programs I've ever "bought".
8. I use a program called the Amazing Slow Downer. You can slow down recordings keeping the same pitch, you can alter the pitch via semitones or +/- cents for those recordings which are just a few hz out, you can EQ it to try and remove vocals, or bass, or isolate the bass, loop segments over and over to work it out, etc. Really useful program. You get asked to learn a song in a different key? You just load it up, change the pitch up or down by however many semitones you need, and away you go
9. Contact Gunsfreddy2003. He's been after a Mutron III for a while. I've messaged him with a link to your thread
10. Any interest in a vintage (Early 80's) Trace Elliot 2x10 combo? I can take pics if you're interested. Cheers James
11. It's 9volt and requires the 3.5mm mini jack like the Bassballs, Proco Rat etc
12. You can find a couple more under the favourites on my Youtube Channel as well as some play alongs
13.
Sold to me a few weeks back unfortunately It's an awesome bass and the trans orange looks completely different depending on the light conditions.
This is True! I had a trans red SR5 at the time too, and the amount of times at a gig I was playing, and I look down and due to the lights the bass looked red, I thought I'd brought the wrong bass! Haha! I still want first dibs when you come to sell that baby! Nicest Stingray I've ever played...Just wasn't using it and needed a 5 String again!
14.
a fatfinger might help. it helps to eliminate issues with dead spots
I tried this once and all it seemed to do was move the dead spot down the neck. IE it was originally on a high D at the 7th fret, after putting it on it moved down to C.
15. If only I could bring myself to part with one of my basses, I'd have this. But all the ones I own are keepers I'm afraid. I'm only down the road, too Good luck and have a bump
16. Sounds like a dead spot to me. Most have them around the 7th fret on the G string, ie, the D note I had this problem too with my OC-2, and ruled out the frequency problem as I could play the 12th fret on the D string without it wavering. Try playing the same riff in a different position. Might help
17. It's so loose, it's tight, if you see what I mean!
18. Awesome drummer. Did a lot of work with Peter Gabriel. Lovely tight solid feel, one of my favourite drummers actually
19. How's that Tiny Orange Phaser? Always wondered about one of them bad boys on Bass
20. That orange P is gorgeous. The Jazz is even more so! Bump for some beautiful bits of wood...
