2. Malekko Bump. Willing to entertain offers....
3. Are the covers the block version or do they have ears for the screws like an SR4?
4. XXL sold! Bump for a great phaser!
5. Worth about ~£150 I think. Depends on the condition. Not as valuable as the original I'm afraid!
6.
Can you explain what's going on with that octron? I didn't think they had 4 footswitches
Octron 2. Bypass/Oct down/Direct/Oct up. You can turn on/off each voice as you please

8. Bump - No longer a feeler!
9. Prices added.
10. I've played this bass a few times at home (Steve is my Dad) and it really is a corker. If I had the cash I'd probably buy it just to keep it in the family! Should also add its a US one, just in case of confusion.

12. Absolutely love all of his work. His earlier poppy albums, the later ones, the trio...Excellent taste in bass players too. His voice is awesome, guitar playing too...Major fan here

Uprising sound

To get this sound I typically run an octaver into a fuzz (in my case Aguilar Octamizer into a Swollen Pickle clone) and then I use my Subdecay Prometheus in envelope mode, turn the depth all the way down and then use the freq knob to select a frequency range. It helps tune the sound into that one particular frequency where you get the sharp cutting synth sound throughout the whole range of the bass. Bear in mind I have the Octamizer before my X-Blender, and the fuzz and filter in it, so I'm effectively blending Clean+Octamizer with Octamizer>Fuzz>Filter.
14. Move the whole bottom row across and get an OC-2 on there

Octave

I was a firm advocate of the OC-2 until I bought an Octamizer. The Aguilar unit is capable of the synthy sounds, as well as more natural sounds, all the way down to pure sub rumble - It's awesome. I never used the 2nd octave on my OC-2, so the Octamizer was a logical step forward, as it then gave me control over the tone of the octave note, and the tone of my clean signal. Infinitely more variable, and takes up less space on the board too. True Bypass and a Blue LED sealed the deal for me

17. BUMP. Malekko and Tech21 still here. Not after a Phaser any longer, so just octaves/fuzz/filters/tuners I'm after! In fact just offer me anything, worst I can do is say no Cheers
18. No sound samples unfortunately. P+C TRADED!
19. BUMP Prunes and Custard pending trade!
20. It has! But I want a cheap and cheerful Octaver that I can stick on my NYC Lunchbox for grab'n'go situations, without having to take pedals on and off boards. Same reason I'm after a Pitch Black too
21.
Admittedly my first compressor was a DOD milkbox (which was a noisy piece of crap) but I then moved on to the Aphex Punch Factory, which was ok, very transparent, good for the price. I now use a Demeter Compulator (not alot though, I don't find myself using compression live) and couldn'y want anything more from a compressor. Compressor GAS has been vanquished for me!!
Just as a follow up to this, I sold the Demeter as I didn't find myself using Compression, but decided to try out the Aguilar TLC - The thing is now on constantly! It's 4 knobs give it a lot of control for a pedal compressor and they interact really well with eachother, making it a pretty straight forward and awesome sounding unit. I love it!
22. Korg Pitchblack added to trade options
