2.
Half price...?
In the description it says these basses go for about 2500 so guess thats how the OP got half price?
3. Yeah why not you will still pay 1550 as the seller pays the fees

9. Dean Markley Helix nickel plated steels for me they are the best strings I have ever tried
10. I prefer bass in a band context but that is just me but if people want to use it as a lead instrument I have no problem against it if they are enjoying what they do I see no problem with it
11. When I used pedals this was the chorus I used and for a cheapo pedal it is pretty good GLWTS
12. A Gretsch Electromatic Junior Jet Bass-Classic shorty is a good start

18.
I think Paul McCartney is the best 70+ rocker around, I love it when he does let's have a party: https://www.youtube....h?v=HmerANX0ATw
I bet McCartney wasnt even an itch in his Daddys sack when you started to play bass Tom lol
19. Would this do nothing to do with me but the seller used it for Royal Blood stuff http://basschat.co.uk/topic/294670-behringer-us600/
20.
Previously owned by Tom so this will undoubtedly be a great bass. I know a lot of folk have this opinion that Mex's don't quite cut it. I only have one non Mex bass left, I only take Mex basses to gig. Love 'em. Bargain price for a great bass imo. GLWTS
my Mexican was better than the yank one I had for a while I was a mug letting it go
21. Hi John I think the approved repair place for all TC gear is REAL ELECTRONICS they are very helpful they fixed my TC amp and covered all the postage etc under warranty if you do not have the box quote them the serial number and they will help you out
22. In fairness to blue I have heard of that being done a fair bit in the 70s from older players but maybe that was more rock than metal in those days. I play mostly metal and like it through my bass rig with just a bit of beef to it if that makes sense
23.
IME most affordable small combos are toys. You need to shell out a bit for something decent. The Ibanez Promethean does it for me. Why they pulled the plug on it is a mystery to me.
This 100% bang on I gave up on combos long ago but I have kept my little Ampeg combo as it is handy at times
24.
a few years ago I sold a bass on basschat which had dodgy wiring (which was unknown to me at the time I sold it). The buyer, a trusted member of basschat, messaged me and made me aware of it within a couple of days of receiving it. I immediately gave him a refund of the cost of repair. If he had got in touch 2 months later, I would probably have told him that the bass was no longer my responsibility and the cost of repair was down to him.
I had something the same I sold a bass and it was perfect but the courier decided to bash it and snap a tuner so the guy who bought it let me know about it asap and to cut a long story short I ordered him a full new set of tuners at cost to myself even though was the couriers fault and all was good I want people to be 100% happy when I sell gear
25. I have not heard anymore so hopefully that matter is over fingers crossed thanks for the advice all
