7.
+1 for coated strings. The equivalent EXP set to EXL165 is EXP165. You can also buy EXL165 in a twin pack (EXL165TP) which will be cheaper than buying single sets.
Yep these are great strings and very bright

 10. Phoenix sound works in earls Barton Northampton used to do it dunno if they still do
 11. Bum if it was any finish but sunburst my wallet would be twitching lol glwts
 12.
LOL, I keep getting the urge to withdraw it and use it for a relic project - a recent thread has given me the itch. But it seems SO wrong on a bass that has no real damage and looks cool as it is.
Noooooo relic work is wrong you will burn in hell if you ruin a good instrument
 13. Go on then rich I will have it can you pm me I'm mobile ATM cheers
 14. The BSW is a bargain the last one on here sold for fifty notes I think
 15. Evil undead is after one of these may be worth messaging her fella
 16.
It's a FABULOUS bass but having owned a few Dingwalls I find myself missing them badly. I can't gig anymore so I can't warrant a number of basses. My trade wants are pretty narrow to either a Dinger or I'd give a Wal a try if an owner fancies a change. Who knows what could happen ;-) The final option is just to keep Mrs CP happy with potential cash, (I don't see that happening though lol)
I hear ya I think Dingwalls are great have you seen the Dingwall Garymac has for sale?that is lush
 17.
I'm measuring over the 8th fret, that's what i've been told. I can't measure less than 1/32 of an inch - and even that's difficult with my 70p Wilko tape measure. as far as i can tell it's about 1/16. Very roughly. But I cannot get the E string low enough to not buzz. Its not unplayable by any means, but the action is higher than my previous bass and I would like it lower. The G and D strings I can get away with, but the A and E, the latter in particular, just buzz when comparably lowered.
Sorry cant help you anymore I think you need to take it to someone who knows what they are doing mate
 18. Yes mate first and last down and 0.012 relief at the twelfth fret
 19.
what do you think is wrong with it?
Mate could be several things neck could be warped truss rod could be dodgy or maybe you have just ballsed the setup up? no offence I think you need to take it to a tech mate
 20.
PM'd
And sold
 21. Wow thought this was the one mate shocked you are selling it but glwts
 22.
With relief of 3/32" I'd expect the neck to resemble a banana. Either you're not measuring it correctly or there's something badly wrong with the setup. I can't think of any further advice to offer you other than take it to somebody who knows how to set a bass up.
I agree take it for a set up £30 max is better than f***ing up the bass cos something is seriously out with that set up mate sorry I cant be anymore help
