I second the folks saying that these are as good as, or possibly better than, other similar priced basses. Have a bump! And £100 delivered… someone buy this so I don’t have to…
its a bargain you should buy it as a backup to my old one you bought hope that you are still enjoying it

Thanks for the comments guys think I will keep using my B1Xon
The B3 only allows 3 effects, rather than 5 on the B1. It also doesn't have an aux input or an expression pedal built in - although you can add one. I haven't scrutinised the effects lists, but they're pretty much the same IIRC. In a gig situation, I'd take the B3 every time. For me it's much easier to use - the 3 footswitches can be used just like they're individual pedals - and much easier to tweak 'on the fly'. And it's 3x the price...
Thanks I was hoping some one was going to say it was easier to use lol

I think that there were lots of problems with that amp and as said above they were underpowered there's stuff online about it I think

Hi all I know this is an effects question but I thought it would be better if I posted here (mods please move if needed ) Anyway my question is I have been using a Zoom B1XON for a couple of weeks and I really like it so I thought it may be worth upgrading to the Zoom B3 are there really any advantages of doing this and are the effects the same on both units? I do like how the display looks on the B3 as I do find it a bit small on the B1Xon so really what would be the pros or cons of upgrading thanks in advance
Does that not tell you something then? How many beginners or average players post vids of themselves on here? Its probably just me being old and British but I have an aversion to showing off. They are all better than me also but frankly who cares what someone looks like playing something? Its music, its what it sounds like that counts. Bah humbug....Nurse, my medication.
horses for courses I like to watch the videos as I watch people's techniques and like to see there gear
Is this whole thread not just a "Look at me, i'm better than you" fest. We play, or I do, music cos we love it, who cares what we look like doing it, especially our peers.
all the people in the video are better than me and fair play to them I love the music but am not bothered that people are better than me
I know nothing about the technology but as a Zoom B3 owner I know there is a problem with power supply. I think it's to do with poor earthing and so varies between venues and this may be a cause. Anyway, try using battery power.
I heard this too a replacement PSU can be bought on ebay for 9 pounds it is not a genuine Zoom part though but does the job well I only know this as my mate had this issue and bought one, I bought a non Zoom PSU from the same place for my B1XON and it works a treat I think the B3 needs 500ma to work as it should

£100 in your pocket and empty or £30 and packed?
Thunderbird replied to skidder652003's topic in General Discussion
If I gigged it would have to be the money as £100 is a lot to me but if I did not need the cash would be nice taking less and having a buzzing room -
Wish good bands like you guys would play around here, the live music scene is pretty much dead here
Since the volute was introduced in 1997ish I have not heard of many problems?
I have heard of quite a few Warwick truss rods breaking but this could be idiot user error BTW Im not a Warwick hater was just curious
-
I notice that Warwick basses suffered a lot of problems neck. Wise bit of a joke considering what they cost
A request to please get back on topic - this thread is about where to buy Warwick basses and is not about Spectors or any other instruments. Enough with the bickering already
good idea I don't see how this thread went wonky donkey anyway my mate reckons that you can buy new Warwick basses from Poland much cheaper than here dunno if that is true though
