1. It went for 78 quid some one did well
2. I agree with paul s a fair price for this bass
3. I am working my way through Manilla Roads discography at the moment some hidden gems in it
4. I liked my B2A better and if I am right I think they had the same pups and electrics as the Jack but to me I thought the neck was much chunkier
5. Blimey shocked the Harley Benton gave up so quick I use mine loads and is great . The T-Rex always seem to get a lot of praise I have never used one though maybe it is like the Harley Benton but has better quality parts inside?
6. It is a shame the pups are so huge but as most of my basses don't have chunky body's the entwhistles could be good but I really do not like modding my bass to fit them as if I wanted to change the pup again the entwhistles would leave a big space around the pup route is OK if it is just a pickguard as that is easy to change
7.
Amazing, sold if for £375 then slags off the buyer for having the temerity to want to pay by PayPal (which I thought you had to accept on Ebay)! Chutzpah of the highest order!
Think the buyer had a lucky escape the seller is clearly a tool and IMO the bass in nowhere near worth 550 bangers.
8.
I'd do it now - no one has any money after Xmas. Its not overpriced and they are really good quality. I only moved my five string Peavey on as it broke the three-bass rule in my house. Yours is the four string version exactly (in hardware terms) so for anyone interested I can heartily endorse how good these basses are. Nice range of sounds, 18v preamp, logical controls, quality hardware and a slim neck with great fretwork.
Thanks mate
9.
Have you tried gumtree ? Just shifted my ac BXP fiver on gumtree for fair money
No not tried that to be honest I really cant believe it has not sold at this price may try the Gumtree route after Xmas cheers
10. Another perfect deal it just does not get any better deal with confidence with a top chap
11.
I like the build quality and components on the Gotoh bridges. I've used Gotoh and Badass on some of my Fenders. There will be many who disagree but I think the Badass is overated and overly expensive.
This and I have tried many bridges and always have gone back to the good old BBOT as they say if it ain't broke don't fix it
12. am still a newbie I am learning how to play for the second time (long story lol) and I am finding it harder this time but it is all about enjoying it but it is so hard to find any spare time to practice when you have a young family but just do what you can dont beat yourself up if you cannot play something put the bass down go have a brew and go back to it
13. If all else fails stick 4 legs on the bass and you will have a lovely coffee table lol but I would try cleaning the switches I would of thought if the jack was going bad it would of crackled and hissed or just not worked but I am no expert
14. Yep I have a copy brilliant book even if you know what you are doing it is a good read and the conversions from Imperial to Metric are helpful
15. Thunderbird

sold

Would rather like this myself but alas no funds
16.
Please, make clear this is no American made G&L JB2 in the headline. I am selling a real G&L JB here in Sweden and get stupid questions why mine is so expensive compared to "another one on BassChat"...
It Dont say it is an American G+L in the headline just cos yours aint selling there's no need to piss on some one else's parade is there?
17. Yet another perfect deal with Lozz he is a seriously good guy to deal with and a real top bloke too
