Blu De Tiger. This girl is going to go far.Jason Karloff replied to Mickyk's topic in General Discussion I don't care about how she looks or whatever level of abilty she has reached on the instrument. Good luck to her. I don't see the need for hostility towards her or any negativity.

For a minute I thought you were in an Alice Cooper tribute band.

	I would change your underwear.

My mistake 35/40 years ago was getting the best instruments I could. Then watching them rocket in value and become too valuable to take outside the door. Painted myself into a corner I didn't see coming.

Indeed. It was all boutique, natural wood. Now i can't stand looking at unpainted wood.

Let him find his own way.

Watching the first semi and loving it. Fingers crossed for Ireland and Slovenia

Which companies are dead to you?Jason Karloff replied to Jean-Luc Pickguard's topic in General Discussion Yer any Brexit supporting company deserve to be eradicated. Warburtons... Wetherspoons etc

	Rumbled. That's what I use.

Sometimes when I'm led in bed at night, I think about this. I've been playing for 38 years now and have reached a certain level on the instrument. I think to myself if i had practiced ruthlessly, every single day, putting in 6 plus hours, not just doing what i fancy, but laser focused, structured learning, only stopping for eating and sleeping, how much quicker could i have got to the same level? I come up with something around 6 to 9 months. Feel depressed that i could of reclaimed 37 years of my life, and go back to counting sheep instead.

Anyone know of a media player with album shuffle, Windows 11Jason Karloff replied to Richard R's topic in General Discussion Musicbee. Amazing.

That's worrying. I just instantly looked at the tab you posted and thought that's Alright Now. I think i may of wasted my life.

Yes i wouldn't of thought it was possible for anyone to play to a technical level of a Neil Peart and sing at the same time. And have one of the best female rock voices.... And possess some incredible material. "War" the obvious example. A top ten song written in any genre of music.

Full marks for Brutus My fav band. Seen them 5 times this year.

What i always find is when I'm trying to figure out a tricky section, is i play and fail 20/30 odd times. Put down the instrument and sleep/forget it. Over the course of the nights sleep or day of not playing, the pathways if that's the right word get rewired. I pick up the bass and i can do it. How all that happens i have no idea. Maybe i just need a good nights kip hahha

Extra 50 quid from me if you finish with a Carpenters medley.

Getting over "the one that got away"Jason Karloff replied to Bafflegab's topic in General Discussion Yep still think about the one i wasn't quick enough to buy a few years back. Although it wasn't sold on here, it was bought by someone here. Just the nicest looking musical instrument i have ever seen. Only surpassed by Rory Gallagher's strat for beauty. To ease the pain I employed someone to build a copy for me. Which is amazing and i love it, but yer still not that is it.

Love the footwear. Where did you get them from?

Can't believe i am actually going to be the voice of maturity for once. Please don't "tongue test" a 9v battery.

You realise that isn't actually see through, and is instead their Persian Rug finish.

Fav gag for me is when they are sat around the table and they are going through past album reviews. The 2 word review of Shark Sandwich 👍 gets me every time
