  1. Email them and ask you never know...
  2. If it has a maple neck and it’s bright red then anodised gold. Don’t know why fender stopped making aluminium ones, much nicer than plastic. Good gob g&l did them for a while but again they stopped too?!
  3. Ah that might have been me, I accidentally did something about social media promotion and selected that thread as a test - turned it off now but didn’t realise anything had happened to the thread just had a quick look and can’t see where any posts might have gone. Any others you’ve spotted?
  4. I was installing an extractor fan earlier which came with some foam that looked perfect for a bridge mute. I’ve shaven off some of the G side to even out the dampening (my G string is always very low) and I can pull it out half way to mute everything but the G because I quite like to do that so popped accents stand out. The lines on the foam in second picture are shadows of the strings. I’ll finish the fan tomorrow
  5. Just flag it and we’ll delete for you
  6. I was more saying how it seems kind of an own goal to make such a tiny pedal/amp and then have a PSU about the same size; sort of makes it less compact than you first assume.
  7. Do you mean the Rotosound comp? Yes winners have now been picked and the strings are being sent on Monday - I wasn't sure if I should announce a list of winners or not so just said in the thread that if you won you'll have received a PM. There's another tasty competition coming in a few days time so keep em' peeled Cheers ped
  8. Looks quite cool, but it always upsets me when something like this, which is so neat and tiny, has a PSU about the same size
  9. Looks like a bog standard model
  10. I lyke it!
  11. Transferwise are brilliant
  12. If a user bumps their advert using the bump button it will ‘update’ the thread but the date on the list shows the last post. So it’s correct, but doesn’t ‘log’ the bumps. Hope that helps!
  13. I got quite used to the neck cover on a jazz although mine was a thinner type you still see on Atelier-z and sadowsky basses. Now I don’t own a jazz so no covers either.
  14. Very nice, wonder what it would look like with a white scratch plate 🤔
  15. There's also this register http://www.guitarsbyleo.com/AUTOREG/interact2.php3?registry_id=1
  16. I tried loads of straps and indeed it became a bit of an obsession at one point. THE softest and most comfortable I have is made from ethically sourced Buffalo leather 🐃 It’s a single layer, suede like on the inside, it literally flops into a heap when removed. I just bought another from eBay here https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F133055968613 Bit of a pain it’s from the US but we’ll worth it, it’ll last you forever!
  17. Yeah I was going to say gearslutz too but I’m not averse to trying a live sound forum and sales area if there’s a call for it.
  18. Yes I think so, unless you have a PA amp which could feed the board, then EQ that channel for bass and low mids only (which is what I do at home for playing along to music) Something like a TE Elf would probably give enough juice to power the board though - mine’s an older one and can’t remember the power handling but don’t think of it in terms of powering a speaker, as you’re standing in it you can feel it easily at low power levels. It’s a bit like placing your finger on a speaker to feel the bass which you otherwise can’t hear, in a car or something.
  19. I use this amazing roll on called Perspirex which says you can use it on your hands. I don’t sweat that much but wanted to try it under arm because I got annoyed with those other brands that say they work but don’t. I went for the full strength one and didn’t sweat for a whole fortnight lol. Now I use the light version and it still works for days on end!
  20. To drive the board, yes. Think of it as an 8ohm speaker. Because you can’t ‘hear’ it then a cheap but powerful head will work. I use a TC BH800 which gives me the option of connecting a cab for monitoring too if I want.
  21. Proper Sicilian lemons too, I bet 🍋
  22. Crack cocaine... another reason to avoid
  23. Cocaine
  24. Someone at Tesco Mobile is about to open the mother of all support requests
  25. I’m in touch with the Glarry people so I’ll see if I can get them to give us some to try out.
