1. As promised... Photos now added to main ad.
2. Completely forgot that I still had this pedal to sell. Still for sale. Price drop to £90
3. The neck is looking lovely.
4.
I used to love that Jonas Hellborg book. You've got me wondering what happened to it...
No idea what happened to mine either. I am happy to rebuy the same book but just thought I would see if there are any more recent comprehensive alternatives. Happy for more recommendations if anyone has any. Cheers
5. Hi ladies and gents, Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on the best/highly recommended bass chord books out there on the market right now. Many years ago I had a copy of the Chords Bassics book by Jona Hellborg which I remember being (just) ok but just curious if there is a specific book that offers more. Thanks in advance
6. I am interested in the Echobox if it's still available? One question though, is the footswitch hard or soft click? Cheers.
7. Ive been waiting (with cash) for one of these to come up for ages. Sadly however, you in Southampton and me in Glasgow = no dice.
8. That bass is just stunning. I have been hankering for an exact spec bass for a long while now and having seen how amazing this looks has made me want one even more. Shuker website, here I come.
9.
Well, my tactic of sitting for four days, drink in hand, grinning inebriatedly and inanely at Mrs Andyjr1515 finally worked. "Why don't you just go back into the cellar and go back to make lots of noise and dust! ANYTHING would be better than seeing your stupid face gawping everywhere!!!" The luminlay side dots are in. There are cheaper alternatives (and it's a bit of a bind having to order direct from Japan), but the ease of fitment with the neat outer sheath and easy, chip-free sawing makes such a difference. Basically, it's drill the hole; drop of cyano; press the stick in; cut flush: The are neat and great both in daylight and in the dark. Here they are fitted - I've gone for the 5mm ones up to the body join: ...and 3mm where the fretboard is flat against the body top: That's another job crossed off the 'to-do' list
Absolutely loving watching your work come along. Out of interest, do you think it would be possible to retrofit an existing neck with these luminlay side dots?
10. +1 on the LS2. I use mine for exactly the same application.
11. What a beaut! Incidentally, I've always enjoyed the reassuringly heavy weight of all my Sandbergs. Its one of the things I look for in a bass.
12. Price reduction bump - Now £40
13. I remember buying an EHX Memory Boy Deluxe from there about a year ago. Pretty sweet deal on the whole price:delivery time ratio as far as I recall. Not used them since though.
14. Similar to Japhet, I like to keep things neat and tidy with lengths of my choosing. I originally went for the Planet Waves Solderless offering and my honest opinion is that they are just OK, if a bit bulky (and balky for that matter). More recently I went down the George L route and these make me one happy pedal-stomping camper. The cable is nice and flexible and the jacks are compact enough. Would recommend them.
15. Always fancied a year of birth bass and this is a serious contender. Need to shift a few things but if this is still here in a couple of weeks I will be back.
16. Delay and ummmm, another delay.
17. PM incoming.
18. Just got back from a 300km round trip to buy Pete's Markbass 104 HF. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Pete. Great communication throughout, really helpful and decent chat upon meet up. The cab was exactly as described and now I cant wait to give it a blast 100% recommended Basschater. Thanks again Pete and good luck with the music.
19. Price Edit: Now £40 Decent enough pedal - I am just upgrading to something with a few more options. Owned from new and in great cosmetic condition and fully working. Comes with box etc. No trades on this unless its a 'posh' tremolo. Can post at buyers cost. Photo to follow (but we all know what it looks like).
20.
Went for the pitchfork and gave it a quick test the other day - http://www.instagram.../p/BMOwyGyA57r/ Totally love it! Can't wait to give it a whirl in a bigger space where my mic' won't pic up the amp signal and give crazy pitch shift feedback.
Really digging this...
21. Been looking for one of these for ages (with cash waiting) but my car has just been written off so got no way of getting to Leeds anytime soon. Darn it.
22. Oh may, why do I always live so far away from the good stuff. Been looking for a cab like this for ages!
