  1. Truly awesome and versatile pedal but I just don't seem to use it much these days since being kicked out of the band(!). One or two very minor scratches but in full working order. Comes with Velcro attached. Boxed but sadly missing the power supply (will update if I manage to find one out). Can add more pictures if required and happy to take questions. I took an average sale price of the 10 most recent to sell on eBay but knocking a tenner off for the missing PSU. So £180 plus postage of buyers choice or local pickup from Glasgow. *** OFFERS ACCEPTED ***
  2. Stunning. Why are all the nice things a million miles away from where I live?
  3. So I went into my local guitar emporium recently to make an inquiry about having a pickup cavity routed into my bass. I was quoted £100. Does that sound like a reasonable price? I only ask because I have literally no idea and that could be a great price for the labour or terrible value. Any thought?
  4. Good work on taking the plunge. I know there isnt much on the web right now about them so would be good to hear your thoughts on it when you get a chance (picutes would be nice too). Out of interest, did you go for the soft or hard case option. I think thats a good cool on the patchbay.
  5. No doubt there will be plenty of Pedaltrain recommendations made shortly but be sure to also check out the new Rockboard by Warwick range. They have nice little design feature tweaks from the PT range which really work.
  6. Normally I would agree with you but I am going on a European tour in a few months and as I solo artist, I will be mostly travelling by train so need to keep gear to a minimum. Besides, these literally are the only pedals I use.
  7. So after many many years of buying and selling/trading pedals (with some notable regrets) I have finally settled on what I think will be my final solution. Relatively simple by comparison to some of the examples in this threat (including some of my own) but it has everything I need and nothing that I don't. As you might guess, I do tend to go down the more ambient/avant-garde route of bass playing so quality delay and reverb is a must. All loaded onto a Pedaltrain Nano and powered by the excellent Truetone CS6 neatly installed underneath.
  8. Oh my... that is nice. Out of interest, do you reckon a standard chrome bridge cover will still fit over the high mass bridge as intended? I am not familiar with the dimensions of those bridges so it might get in the way.

    Darkglass X7

Personally, I am pretty bored with the whole Darkglass overdrive range now. I have owned three and sold them all. I doubt I will be getting any more in the future.
  10. Personally speaking that is the complete opposite to my relationship with strings. I would change them for a brand new set after every practice if I could afford such decadence.
  11. Zoom Ultra Fuzz for some mad self oscillation. Way better than some would think.
  12. Picked this up a few weeks ago thinking that it might create a bit of space on my board but never really got on with it. Great unit, just not my cup of tea. Great condition. Boxed with all original material. Having a slight issue with my online picture provider at the moment so can email pictures directly. Looking for £50 plus postage of buyers choice. Not really interested in any trades right now but might be swayed by a swap for a Ditto.
  13. I acquired a second hand TC Electronic HOF Mini but after a few hours I felt a little underwhelmed by it. I mean, it is ok but meh... Anyway, I plugged my Mr. Black Eterna (blue version) back into my chain and WOW, suddenly hit with huge amounts of inspiration. Rekindled the already huge amount of love I have for that pedal. Played it solidly for 2 hours. So, the question is, who else has bought a new pedal only to realise that the dusty old work horse that you have owned for years really is the one after all, you just needed to know for sure by trying out an alternative? Would be interesting to hear your thoughts/similar experiences. (p.s. you may well spot a second hand HOF mini for sale in the classified in a few days)
  14. I will be moving to south of France in a few months which means I need to limit the amount gear I can take, at least at first. This means no amp/cab. So as a stopgap I am considering getting myself a preamp unit (most likely a pedal) and some headphones. My question is, which headphones would be ideal for this? Alternatively, which ones should I stay away from? I am after pretty good audio quality ideally, needless to say with a good bass response. Input appreciated. Cheers.
  15. I went to my local GuitarGuitar store a few months ago to pick up a few little pieces and had a bit of time to kill so tried one of these out. I wasn't expecting to fall in love with it as much as I did. They are seriously good basses. Personally I would have gone for the natural version but only just.

  17. I use the Mr Black Eterna - probably the only pedal I will never consider selling. Very simple but absolutely lush and quality reverb.
  18. I am currently seeking input and advice on the best capos us use with a wide neck. The one I currently have is not long enough so in need of a quality alternative. What are people using? What should I stay away from? It needs to be sturdy, strong and robust as I do tend to have a heavy touch.
  19. Electro Harmonix POG2 - £175 Everybody knows about these. Great pedal but I just don't seem to use it much these days. One or two scratches but in full working order. Boxed but sadly missing the power supply (will update if I manage to find one out). Electro Harmonix Super Pulsar - £150 As new. Bought for a studio project which has since ended so needs to be moved on. Immaculate condition. Incredible piece of kit. More options than you would ever know what to do with them. Boxed but with a power supply. Pedaltrain Nano (x2) - £27 each Literally bought these a few weeks ago for an attempted (ill fated) modular setup which never worked out. Both in as new condition. Expertly applied Velcro. Tags still on the cases. Both come with all leftover Velcro and cable ties. One with original box. D'addario Solderless Pedalboard Cable Kit - £35 A recent pedal purge has rendered these obsolete. 10 right angle jacks and every piece of cable I have ever used so any buyer has options. More items to be listed soon. Postage of buyers choice added to the prices listed. Photos to follow.
  20. Morning all, I just happened to come across the new(ish) Rockboard boards and was wondering if anyone here has any feedback on them before I pull the trigger on one. I am mostly interested in any thoughts on the Duo 2.1 as a replacement for my PT Nano as it has an extra couple of inches length which is perfect for my needs. Also, hoping to confirm that a power supply unit (Trutone CS6) will fit underneath. As always, all input is greatly appreciated. Cheers y'all.
  21. Beauty. Just as a Sandberg should look; old shape, no fretboard markers and sensible colour. I'd be all over this if I didn't already own one.
