  1. Among other things. Without calibration this is like throwing food at a wall to judge the flavour.
  2. I was pleasantly surprised by his cameo in the Book of Boba Fett series.
  3. No use living in fear of missing something. There's two you love and two you like. You know which to let go.
  4. Sounds like there's a bit of chorus on the main signal, and they dubbed flanger/distortion for that part. You hear the main track continue nearly unaffected.
  5. To my ears 2 has oversaturated lows. 1 sounds tighter and will give less trouble in live and recording situations. 2 would come in to their own in music with dominant overdrive/distortion guitars I think. 1 for funk/soul/jazz/pop. 2 for metal/reggae/grunge.
  6. These are my absolute favourite strings and have been using them exclusively for six or seven years. Mine are these for AEADG tuning: https://www.amazon.com/DR-Strings-Acoustic-Guitar-DDT5-55/dp/B003JFTE00
  7. Hall of Fame should be artists that are a reference point of their style of music or a Larger than Life icon in popular music. Dolly should have been one of the first names in the HOF period. Never heard of mc5 or fela kuti until reading the first post. Most of the other names are debatable, Eminem isn't rock but certainly brought rap to the main stream, Beck is mediocre for the alt rock he plays on par with Cornershop for instance, how are we listing RATM (who I like) in competition with Judas Priest (not a big fan)? Priest have been a hallmark for heavy guitar music since 1974!
  8. Funny enough, the opposite of this also works. Playing the song at speed but playing only the first two notes per bar (or the first and third) and adding notes as you get perfect runs.
  9. Good tip for tinnitus sufferers perhaps!
  10. Different fingerboard and radius near the body, different (less ugly) sunburst, no scratch plate holes... It's none of the above.
  11. I'd go see a band called "Colin or Nigel" the suspense is killing me already!
  12. Glancing over this thread, some of you have VERY loosely fitted jaws, wow!
  13. Flip the body and straighten the strings I'd say. That bottom horn as top would help reduce neck dive.
