Hall of Fame should be artists that are a reference point of their style of music or a Larger than Life icon in popular music. Dolly should have been one of the first names in the HOF period. Never heard of mc5 or fela kuti until reading the first post. Most of the other names are debatable, Eminem isn't rock but certainly brought rap to the main stream, Beck is mediocre for the alt rock he plays on par with Cornershop for instance, how are we listing RATM (who I like) in competition with Judas Priest (not a big fan)? Priest have been a hallmark for heavy guitar music since 1974!

Funny enough, the opposite of this also works. Playing the song at speed but playing only the first two notes per bar (or the first and third) and adding notes as you get perfect runs.

This is my standard tuning on both my Spector euro 5lx and my custom Cellar V. DR strings DDT heavies. However we're considered to be playing thrash metal.

Spector for me 100%, I don't get on with jazzes. What music are you planning to play, do you prefer slim or beefy necks, is weight a factor etc.etc.etc. Give us something to go on. Shootout is when YOU compare items and present us with the results.

A dry thick microfiber towel for every day cleaning, a drop of Dr.Duck's Axwax annually when I change my strings and batteries. I have one bass that's only treated with Birchwood Casey gunstock oil and wax, no other lacquer or other finish on it.

All I can say is get the maruszczyk padded strap to go with it. I'm not using any other strap ever again.
