1. Had a listen. Excellent stuff! A bit different from what I was expecting but very catchy & great sounds. I really like that pingy blippy sound on Barcode Babble, how do you get that?
2. I'll get a listen at @ 3pm (lunchtime for me).
3. My guess would be that it sounds OK?
4. More likely to be pot luck!
5. If you liked the MB 104 then why not get one of them? Me myself, I'd be looking at 2x10s (or 12s) or Alex's offerings. The Barefaced super 12 runs at 4Ω & apparently a stupidly loud cab, but as you probably know, getting max watts out your head into the one cab doesn't mean any noticeable increase in volume.
6. Musically, very good! I like it a lot. Vocally, too stereotypical. Sorry. Sound's like late 80's thrash. Yes, have some of the "gargle with gravel" vocals there, but it needs something to make people listen & go "wow". Maybe even a female vocalist (or if you could get an opera singer?) to sing alongside your current vocalist. Bass playing was spot on.
7. If you're happy with 2nd hand, then I can recommend the Markbass CMD102p combo. One of the loudest, lightest & best sounding combos I've ever played through & it's never let me down. The amp section is a Little Mark II (or III if you go for a newer one), so adding another cab is no probs & it has an fx loop that can be pre or post (one position mixes it with your dry signal). They usually pop in the For Sale section on here for @ £600 (they're @ £1k new). Like Prime bass says, there's plenty of decent kit in your price range, better quality stuff if you go down the 2nd hand route. I can understand you being interested in the TC gear, but Marshall? Unless it's their older gear, the only thing that intrigues me about them is why are they still making crap bass gear?
8. I'm really looking forward to hearing your new stuff. Was very impressed with the 1st EP.
9. I've just hurt my back thinking about trying to lift that thing!
10. I like the wee box at the top right that has a load of options. Nice touch. Is there a way to switch to desktop version? That would be handy for jumping pages.
11. Sweet. I'm glad you're keeping the Black & Orange.
12. Just checking out the mobile version. It's easier to navigate on iPhone.
13. I've been away from the house all day in an area where I get no internet or phone signal on my phone, get back in & turn on the Mac to find this. & a pleasant surprise it is too. Never been on Facebook for yonks, so never got any idea that this was going ahead either!
14. Looks very fresh & sharp I felt very much at home on the old one though, but given time I'm sure it'll be the same here. Is there still a comfy sofa & popcorn machine in the OT?

Moog Pedals...

It does seem very lazy of the "synth" industry to appear to not have progressed much past MIDI. There is a lot that use USB or Firewire, but all that appears to get sent down it is MIDI information. I suppose the question is, is there a need for any more than MIDI? What else could be done? MIDI can control all the parameters that you need it to & all you need for more channels is a MIDI expander (a rare thing nowadays!).

Moog Pedals...

Definitely worth keeping an eye on the Moog website over the next couple of months. I googled MP-102 & it fetched back MP201 & MF102, so no news on web yet.

Moog Pedals...

I saw on moog's website that they're now discontinued. I wonder why?
18.
A very long time ago I experimented with two amps/biamping etc. I discovered a world of earth loop hums and odd phase cancellation effects (that made you inaudible in one part of the room but deafening elsewhere), and I quickly decided it was better just to get one big amp.
You needed a Bass Murf so you could have some stereo fun!
19. I would have thought the 2x10 wouldn't have a much bigger footprint than the 1x10, just higher?
20. I went into my local Majestic & vintage is anything pre 2010. Here's a thought if vintage is over 25 years, in @ 2 1/2 years my Ibanez SR1000 which I bought new will be vintage! Hooda thortit?
21. A Barefaced Midget might be calling you.
22. I think either way would be just as loud as they're gonna move just as much air. I'd love to do the stereo thing though! The Bass Murf has had me wanting to for many yonks. edit to say I've seriously considered getting another 102P combo to do such a thing, but funds won't allow just now (& there's one for sale for £550 too!!!).
23.
And reverse polarity!
Forgot about that bit I have a reverse polarity cable on the daisychain for the Murf as the other 2 pedals in the chain are - tip. All run from a Godlyke Powerall.
24. I haven't really paid much attention to him before, but I wish my terrible playing was as bad as his!
