Quick vid from rehearsal on Xmas Eve. Just after set up before we made any real noise. Shows the pedalboard against the rest of the room/rig/drums etc to give you a full idea of the size! Not sure if you'll get any sound as I've just moved house and don't have broadband set up yet so this has been compressed and uploaded to Photobucket via iPhone. http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h44/pant...ls/108c8e71.mp4
hahah thats a board! nice! my board is quickly going this way! my guitarist is scared! lol andy -
i say go for it! theres nothing wrong with wanting to get the same sound as a pro player in my book. you'll never get the same sound as your not cliff, im a true believer in probs half the tone comes from how you play the other half from the gear. but you'll get close i used to have the vintage morley fuzz wah im guessing thats what you have? the big silver thing? i found mine was a bit of a nightmare tbh the fuzz worked well but like you say kinda hard to get the wah going with it, if you can get the fuzz working and kinda close maybe try the 105q for the wah? i used to use that and a ehx metal muff setup bass and mid heavy with the top boost at about half put it after the wah and to my ears that kinda got me close enough? but it does take lots of the bass out as its a guitar pedal, so now i have clean mixed with a blues driver using an ls-2 and then the same settings on the metal muff. for me it really works some how having a bass heavy fuzz kinda sound out of the blues driver and ls-2 makes the metal muff keep the lows. but like the guys have said experiment thats what cliff did? andy
This is my DIY (guitar ) pedal board which I made a few months ago. It's mdf, covered with black acrylic, alloy trim and a pair of Ikea's finest cupboard handles There's a Diago power supply hidden in the tier, with a couple of Scythe Mini Kaze LED fans to keep it cool. I've also fitted a brush cable tidy (made from a letterbox draught excluder) in the front face on the tier, which allows the patch/power cables to be neatly routed from pedal to pedal. Pedal wise it's pretty simple... Polytune, MXR Octave (which sounds great with guitar), MXR Zakk Wylde Overdrive (soon to be replaced with an MXR Delay due to lack of use), noise gate, Ernie Ball wah and the footswitch for my Blackstar S100 head. Hope that's of some help, I'm sure I saw a more recent picture though...
thanks man. an ls2 i know the guitarist has a 2/3 amp setup im assuming he does to, unless he uses it to go between effects? andy
Just received a Line 6 FM 4 pedal from Andy and have to echo the comments above..he's a great person to deal with!! Despite snow-enfored delays and the Xmas postal rush, Andy went to great lengths to ensure that the pedal got here and when it arrived it, was exactly as described and really well packaged.. Great piece of kit too Many thanks Andy - have a good Xmas!
thanks man u 2! andy

im getting a new wah due to this one being broken. im pretty sure that its just a loose connection inside but i have no time to sort it and i could use what ever cash i can get for it. its a gigging wah but its in reasonable nick, a few scratches really and thats all. im only looking for 30 quid, as im sure a tech could sort this prob very quickly with one or two new parts. any takers? andy
Not sure about the Wah settings, so to speak, on the Auto Wah, but the more traditional funky envelope sounds are meant to be pretty good on it. And no, it wouldn't have to be the official Roland pedal that you used with it for expression control.
ok cool sounds good! any idea what pedals are ok to be used with it? andy

sold nik my line 6 fm4, really quick payment and understanding on postage delays due to bloody snow! nice guy and would defiantly do business again! andy
