How does it compare to the TU-2?
nope! but got to have a play on one he had in stock! much brighter lights and seems a bit quicker to tune? and rather than only powering one other bass pedal like the tu2 it can power 7! will have my one when i get back from hols next month! andy

 11. haha! proper funny thread! some people are retards! 10000 people gig! hahahahahaha! i like ampeg but as a lot of you have said most of the big names use the cl or very old vintage pegs! and he clearly has no idea about pro guitar rigs as several big bands get the main guitar sound from a little combo mic'd thats put thru the main amp speakers! not all tho. arent trolls awesome lol! andy
 12. My db750 will blow most valve amps out of the water!

 19.
I played an Epi JC in a music shop yesterday. The feeling was of a really solid bass, but I found the neck was a bit too wide and chunky for me. Got some good tones out of the pickup - there's enough variety in the varitone switch settings to keep things interesting. How vintage-looking are you looking for? As a result of the trip to the shop yesterday, I'm going to be selling a couple of basses to make room for a new arrival, and one of them is a Yamaha BEX4 semi-hollow in blueburst. Lovely instrument, vintage-looking, with some decidedly non-vintage features - 3 band EQ, piezo and magnetic pickups, flame top. Pix and more info will be in the For Sale section when I get round to it...
thanks ill check them out! andy
