Also - just one distortion pedal? you need to address that!
Indeed! That should addressed im thinking! Lol Liking the octave down plus fuss idea! Andy
 2. looking into getting a few more pedal to add a bit of depth and also to mix up my sound a bit as my bands set is a bit varied at the minute. at the minute i have my modulus going into this, tuner(tu-3)--boss auto wah--boss ls-2(this has a boss blues driver mixed with clean)--ehx metal muff i also have a harmonizer pedal which i sometimes play with, but thats out at the minute as it was a bit of a pain but im sure it will come back! now here comes the fun part ive got a delay pedal on its way to me which im gonna stick in after the tuner, but what else do you guys think might be cool to stick in? im looking at the boss rv-5(i know another boss pedal!) which im thinking will kinda fill out the sound in our breakdowns and slower numbers but have also been thinking of maybe an octave pedal and then even a pitch shifter? although i have rediscovered my love for muse recently and i know he uses a digitech bsw and a russian muff so there tempting me two! thing is the ehx is a right signal destroyer the signal coming out is way less i think even with it of! i used to have two in a row and the second used to have to be twice as high on the volume to be the same? so im looking at if there is anyway to route these pedals so i dnt loose to much, the boss pedals are fine so im thinking of grabbing another ls-2 and putting the distortions in that at the end of the chain. but im guessing the russian muff would need mixing with clean and i can't have three ls-2's on my board! any ideas? andy
 3. this is back up as sale fell thru! so please throw me a pm if you interested!
 4. a helpful evening bump! awesome amp at a good price! andy
 5.
The difference between the 1 and 1.1 is that the 1.1 has twice as many locations to save and has an on/off button, as well as the "afterburner" zone on the input gain which is a lo cut/high boost function. I gave serious thought to buying Mr Foxen's, but what put me off was that it was 110V, had it not been I would have bitten his hand off for it. Changing out the transformer sounded too problematic so I just saved up and got one new. Mr Foxen is quite correct as well that they don't come up that often either because not that many people have them or that nobody wants to sell them. I watched Ebay for 4 months and there wasn't one that went for less than £290 whch was more than I was going to pay for one 2nd hand.
looks like ill have to keep an eye out then. dnt need it at the minute but if i see one ill get it. andy
 6.
Well, they're not cheap. You won't find one for less than £500 if you're going for new. 2nd hand maybe £290 if you're lucky. There aren't really that many sold on ebay. Depends what you want to use it for really. If you want loads of different types of distortion then that's great. If you only want say one or 2 then it's just total overkill. The midi switching is covered in the manual. It's not that difficult to work out if you sit down with it. If you want to preserve the clean sound of your amp, put the PSA in the loop. There are 2 bypass channels on it so you can remove it from the signal chain if you wish to.
well at the minute i would probs need about 4 or 5? but i maybe joining a covers band so i will probs need a few more than that. you know original bands sounds then some to fit the covers. cool about the bypass. is there a massive dif between the 1 and the 1.1? andy
 7. these units sound wicked! but by the looks of it are stupidly expensive!? but i can save up for that i can't find a video or anything that says about how the midi thing works you can store sounds i get that well the patches anyway, but is there a way of taking it out or does it have to be on the whole time? as i like the clean sound of my amp and if i can would run this before it. or am i better going for a norm sansamp? but i dnt think they sound the same at all! andy
 8.
Could be interested,.. "unless your close and postage not needed." Close to where? Scotland? Ireland? Japan?
Opps! Sorry i live in tbe southwest, in plymouth. Andy
 9.
The Boss EV5 is designed to work with Boss pedals, or for roughly half the money a Moog EP2 is compatible with Boss stuff - bit more rugged construction too.
cool man thanks alot ill grab one in the new year! andy
 10. just not using this anymore as im probs going to be getting a pedal for my comp needs the only damage was done before i owned it which is a slightly bent rack ear still fits in and a pair of plyers would sort it ive just never got round to it. http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/MDX1600.aspx thats a link to there site. its two channels that are bridgeable if i rem, very nice bit of kit. im looking for 40 quid plus postage which i think is fair as its a pretty big unit. or if your around plymouth in the southwest 35 quid if you pick up. andy
 11.
Cool! I have a PH-3 if your interested. Unfortunately i have decided to go for a OC-3 and a wireless. Cheers, Matt
ok no probs
 12.
Do you have a picture of this pedal?? What things are you looking to trade for? Cheers, Matt
i dnt have my camera but its never been gigged and is spotless. but its the same as the pic. trade wise im looking for a nice delay pedal, a boss ph-3 and also looking for an 0c-2 andy

 15.
Quick vid from rehearsal on Xmas Eve. Just after set up before we made any real noise. Shows the pedalboard against the rest of the room/rig/drums etc to give you a full idea of the size! Not sure if you'll get any sound as I've just moved house and don't have broadband set up yet so this has been compressed and uploaded to Photobucket via iPhone. http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h44/pant...ls/108c8e71.mp4
hahah thats a board! nice! my board is quickly going this way! my guitarist is scared! lol andy
 16. i say go for it! theres nothing wrong with wanting to get the same sound as a pro player in my book. you'll never get the same sound as your not cliff, im a true believer in probs half the tone comes from how you play the other half from the gear. but you'll get close i used to have the vintage morley fuzz wah im guessing thats what you have? the big silver thing? i found mine was a bit of a nightmare tbh the fuzz worked well but like you say kinda hard to get the wah going with it, if you can get the fuzz working and kinda close maybe try the 105q for the wah? i used to use that and a ehx metal muff setup bass and mid heavy with the top boost at about half put it after the wah and to my ears that kinda got me close enough? but it does take lots of the bass out as its a guitar pedal, so now i have clean mixed with a blues driver using an ls-2 and then the same settings on the metal muff. for me it really works some how having a bass heavy fuzz kinda sound out of the blues driver and ls-2 makes the metal muff keep the lows. but like the guys have said experiment thats what cliff did? andy
 17.
I'm afraid I couldn't tell you, I've not tried it out with a bass yet.
I c, well if u get the chance id love to know? Really like the look of these pedals but may just have to get one in the new year! My poor boss pedal board is gonna have to go in the new year to as ive got to add about another 3 pedals to the 5 i already have! Think j might make my own! Andy
 18.
This is my DIY (guitar ) pedal board which I made a few months ago. It's mdf, covered with black acrylic, alloy trim and a pair of Ikea's finest cupboard handles There's a Diago power supply hidden in the tier, with a couple of Scythe Mini Kaze LED fans to keep it cool. I've also fitted a brush cable tidy (made from a letterbox draught excluder) in the front face on the tier, which allows the patch/power cables to be neatly routed from pedal to pedal. Pedal wise it's pretty simple... Polytune, MXR Octave (which sounds great with guitar), MXR Zakk Wylde Overdrive (soon to be replaced with an MXR Delay due to lack of use), noise gate, Ernie Ball wah and the footswitch for my Blackstar S100 head.
