grabbing one of these. wondering if anyone else has one in there rig, my rig has a rack eq doing the job of a thumpinator cutting out anything below 25hz, i did think this might cut away the use of this pedal but when using a pitch shifter you can def still feel those lows 2 octaves down, so looking forward to getting it. might grab a di box aswell later so if we do a gig with a big pa i can run the blue box straight into it. andy

my old rig of a aguilar db750 and a 610hlf was my fav rig for ages, love my terror and 410obc but im hoping the new rig of a orange thunderverb 200 and an 810 cab will be my new fav! andy

[/quote] the boss tuner has a buffer in it so i would think that wont be necessary, in fact seeing as you have three boss pedals i wouldnt be worried about a buffer. are you supplying the mooer from the supply out of the tu-2? or on the same daisy chain as the rest? andy

also you could try supplying the mooer of the tuner its an isolated supply i think so might help. andy

i have 2 6m 4 way extension reels, a surge protector is always good but these came from tesco and cost about 5 quid, no need to spend crazy money. andy

think i might look at upgrading the wheels or maybe grab a flightcase for it andy

I've been very happy in the bands I've used it in and the bands have been positive about the sound too, not degenerated into a volume war, just kept the bass at drum kit level; rock solid low E, nothing running out of steam. I think if you've got the space, and you drop on one cheap, I think an 8x10 can be useful. They are so out of vogue at the moment they can be bought for next to nothing. The Ampeg I had and the Ashdown I have now are just big chipboard boxes with basic 10's in them but overall they work well, just don't pay too much. A few good ones on here at the mo, the Trace 8x10 (Celestions) and the Marshall VBC 810 too. I think Derek Forbes' old Ampeg was on for sub £500 wasn't it?
