  1. The E string is louder and sounds quite boomy no matter how l adjust the eq.
  2. Standard 1+/1-
  3. Isn't 1+/2+ the wiring of neutric plugs for bridged mode?
  4. Bargain! Perfect for uplighting a drum kit. Glwts.
  5. Sorry for the very late reply...yes it is the collector grade sunburst one bought from Simon on this forum.
  6. Thanks for your tip but l usually do that anyway to all the strings at the bridge. I've tried a smaller E gauge 95 and seems to help somewhat but it's not ideal. I'm still thinking about changing out the stock pups for some Norstrands though..but it would obviously spoil the provenance of the instrument which is basically a collectors grade Jazz.
  7. It would huff and puff and blow your house down!
  8. What's the weight of the tank please? Is the barrel long or short scale. Cheers.
  9. Cnc routers are magical and can easily replicate any design you want after it's been programmed in. Lovely design though.
  10. Makita orbital sanders are amazing pieces of kit though!
  11. Had one of these a few years ago in our Country and Western Dolly Parton tribute band....
  12. Just beautiful......would you trade it for my wife..well used but in fair to good used condition and cooks a wonderful spaghetti carbonara ??
  13. Why do l keep coming back to look at this Bass🫣
  14. I've got a R 400 and l use it 95% of the time..it's brilliant and sounds awesome. I also had a subway D800 and it was a complete letdown when l used it on gigs and rehearsals. I soon got rid of it but instead bought a Orange Terror 500 for reheasals and back up. I love this little amp even though its a D class it sounds great and blows the Subway out of the water.
  15. Proper bargain all this, especially for a young band just starting off. GLWTS bud...worth every penny.
  16. Fantastic looking bass! Didn't Jimmy Lea from Slade play one until it got pinched? That guy could really play..if you don't believe me have a listen to his bass solo on Dirty Joker from the Play it Loud album. Apparently according to my daughter who plays grade 8 violin, it's based on a movement by Bach. Makes sense as Jimmy started off as a violinist.....l'll get my coat..
  17. Great little starter bass for anyone who wants to learn bass. Glwts.
  18. Fine amps these, plenty of heft and enough bottom end to dislodge your Grannies filling out..glwts
  19. Brilliant value and as cheap as chips for a professional bass rig with exceptional quality.
  20. Wow..a thing of beauty...and if it plays as good as it looks?
  21. Wowzer.....nurse where are my anti gas tablets...please hurry!
  22. Lovely bass with great, detailed pictures. I've never seen a Precision with a long G string screw though. I thought this was only a quirk of Jazz models from late 60's to early 70's due to the placement of the bridge and pick up. My 71 Jazz has the long G string screw which dates it correctly. I'm sure one of my learned bass chatters will inform me otherwise. Any thoughts folk's? Glwts mate.
