1. This is a gorgeous piece of kit. Any 5 string trade interests??
2.
Currently selling a custom shop classic jazz and am open to offers http://basschat.co.u...m-classic-jazz/
I once owned one of these and they are exceptionally good. If you have the wonga its a bass you wouldn't regret buying. IMHO of course.
3. I have tried to get away from owning half a dozen mid price and cheap basses and relax and get to know one very well. (Also because every room in my house was stuffed with bass stuff and was just ridiculous) I am on a good thing at the minute with my Mike Lull TC5; but is there anything obvious Im missing that simply has all the tools in one bass that isn't gonna cost me £5,000 ?
4. +1 for classic 50s MIM P bass. I had a beauty, but like all things - it got moved on to try something else. Easily as good as my old USA P. Anything Mike Lull is going to be good, and theres a beauty of a P Lull on here for sale. I recently acquired a Lull TC5 jazz and its everything it says it is - quite the mutts nutts. Seem to remember the 50s MIM cost me £279.00 new on ebay. Listing was full of smelling pistakes and clearly didnt get the hits on searches so I got it for the starting price - bargain.
5. Scream for me long beach . .
6. Is it just me or is the picture not visible ?
7. Just sold a stingray to phil. Fast payment and good comms. Pleasure to deal with. BC as it should be. Thanks
8. If i knew back then when i started that every bass id ever need was my mike lull TC5 id have saved myself about £15,000 over past 25 yrs and just waited for it to come along while playing my usa fender p. Been there done that got the bass and the t-shirt and the credit card bill. It seems basic is best. But you would miss all the fun.
9. Mmmmmm. Lovely colour.
10. Sold my jd basswah to Lee. Great comms, no fuss. Prompt payment. Basschat at its best. Thanks.
11. B u m p Make me an offer someone. . . .
12. Gorgeous. Where did you originally buy this from ?
13. Get behind me temptation. Someone buy this before i make a bad decision.
14. Dingwall moved on. Neeeded a change - if only for the sake of it. I reckon i will own a Z3 some day and that will be tbe crest of the hill for me. Need a second mortgage though. W+T is a sexy beast. Specially the zoid. Good luck with the sale.
15. Theres a lot of really really good cheap kit now; but cheap kit when i was starting out 25yrs ago was my AXE bass which was advertised in kerrang. The worst piece of garbage i ever played. Crackly pots. Bridge came away from body when it was in tune. Strap buttons fell out. I loved every bass i ever owned, cheap and dear; except this Axe abomination. Anybody else suffer this?
16. At what the cost of import tax is set at i try to avoid US purchases. As if petrol, cigarettes, diesel, PAYE tax and all the rest arent enuf. Bass from across the pond is taxed too. If i moved to usa it would be cheaper. . . . . . . . .
17. This is remarkably attractive. Just as well its not a five string or id be agonising over it more. Sorry to hear of your retirement. . . Whatever will you do now. And have a bump.
18. Gorgeous. But we dont get on.
19. Anybody seen the Torzal bass in little guitar works website ? Anybody played one? Looks like it shouldn't work but its probably very comfortable. Comes wih fanned frets too for Dingwall fans.
