1. This is my zoom B3 pedal. I have only had this a short time but my sansamp DI programmable bass driver arrived just after this and its kinda marshalling everything for me with less fiddling with buttons. In hindsight if I'd just waited a few days I would have saved myself some effort in having to shift this on so soon. It's in immaculate condition in original box with power supply and instructions. Make a sensible offer if It's too much.
2.
For flexibility and clarity, I'd go for a Genz Shuttle 9.2. It really impressed me. Be wary of the PF500. Search on Basschat to see how many have had issues
My genz benz streamliner 600 has more power and tonal flex than my pf500 through two cabs. I'm not saying they are bad, just that in my experience it was not a lot of watt for the £950 the ampeg set up with two cabs cost. Genz is cheap as chips at the minute in bass direct.
3. Here is my spector doug wimbish custom finished in white gloss. Still like brand new with cool serial number of NB12345 I traded away a gem of a five string bass for this hoping we would get on but as I feared I'm a die hard five string player and it's not for me so I'm moving it on rather than wasting more time on it. It is in immaculate condition and will be living in its case until it leaves my house. I would debate that it's worth more than this but I'm just wanting it gone as quickly as possible to enable me to get back another model of what I had before. If someone makes an offer close to this they can have it. I'm really disappointed this hasn't worked out as it is simply stunning but Bass gas is a serious illness I suffer from. My photo skills aren't my greatest attribute, I might be able to do better in daylight if I get a chance. Cheers
4. Three way trade . . . ? Two kidneys and a liver ?
5. Check out Rush and their instrumental - Leave that thing alone. . .. One of my faves.
6. Hi Sold a pedal to random bass. Friendly comms and quick payment. BC as it should be. Pleasure to deal with. Thanks.
7. Traded a jazz for Steve's doug wimbish spector. Bass was in totally immaculate condition as described. Wouldn't hesitate to do business again as it was a smooth trade. Hope you enjoy the jazz, I am loving the white spector. Cheers.
8. Pardon my ignorance on this piece of kit. Does the absence of a mids tone control hamper abilities and possible sounds.. Would i be better with the rackable version with the mid option?
9.
This is the exact reason I don't use Ampeg, it leaves a massive toneprint with whatever instrument gets used, at least generally speaking. If you dig that sound then the Sansamp is for you though.
Does this mean that if you have tried ampeg and weren't impressed then the sansamp is not for you?
10. Boss me 50b for sale. No issues with it. If you need pics I can post them later but it's in good condition. Comes with manual of instructions. Postage included. Too much? Make me an offer. Thanks for looking.
11.
Each to his own I guess.
Wise words sums up respect
12. This has only been with me for a couple of months but it is not being used as much as I had thought so someone else might as well be enjoying it. I checked GAK at time of posting this and they are £79, this is immaculate and hardly used. Postage to uk included.
13. Dare I ask if the EH big muff deluxe is a similar animal?
14.
Arrogant? Patronising? LOL! Guess the truth hurts some. I bet you own one of these Zoom pedals? I did since some players on forum told me it sounds good, sold it after two weeks because it is one of the worst sounding pedals in the history of pedals. These days any person can publish stuff on the internet and a lot of them do not know what they're talking about that's all I'm saying. Someone telling you a Zoom B3 or MS60-B sound good is either a liar, sales person (thus a liar) or someone who never heard good bass tone in their life. A Zoom B3 and Zoom MS60-B are above all CHEAP pedals that will do well with your bedroom practice amp if that's all you want... Well that is very nice but some of us are actually looking for something that can be used in real live situations or for recording. Do not expect miracles from those pedals. They will not deliver good tone.
I'm not sure what to think of this. Is it based on fact or spite ? Considering the audience there's possibly a few hundred people just got called a liar for liking the sound of a zoom B3.
15. Why is the sansamp bass driver DI popular? Pardon my ignorance but I'm experimenting with effects again and I know little about it.
16. Yep, a meet and trial would solve this but geography and the Irish Sea have put a dampener on that. It's a familiar situation for us over here. I had a look at the barefaced site, first I've really taken time to do it. It's impressive but I am a genz fan and it's light and loud too and I like the streamliner simplicity and tone. Just might need the 900 instead of the 600 and at the price they are it's tempting to just have the extra on tap in case it's needed, but a cab is first on the list. Cheers
17. I'm still chewin on this spector offer dude.... Just struggling to be convinced. If I didn't need the sale as much I'd say go ahead and take it on. I've a new project starting in January that I'm gonna likely need a new genz benz 4x10 cab and maybe a new amp for and I've one one eye on planning for it now and money would be better. Now this dingwall, I'd rip your arm off for. Hope you had a good Christmas.
18. Bump Make an offer Worts the worst I can say
