1.
I win - I claim my £5
At least it's got a better cutaway than a lot of basses that have appeared in this thread.
2. Love Ex Factor's, one of the coolest basses I've ever seen. Congratulations!
3. Shame you're not after a 5 string upgrade, I'd be after this as a slight 'downgrade' (if you can call it that) if/when my bass sells!
4.
Incidentally, isn't this a Corona rather than an Eclat? That's what the Fret King Black Label catalogue seems to say. There might be a Googling potential buyer out there who's missing out on this.
Right you are! Thanks for pointing that out, perhaps another sign that really I don't deserve such a nice instrument.
5. One word: Beautiful! Those inlays are fantastic and as usual, PRS 'nailed it' in the finish department.
6. Cheers for the input. I thought that might be the case. Bump!
7. Would be great to have a couple of pictures.
8. Well I have half the cash ready right now so... Who wants the neck and strings?
9. There was a black transparent one on here of the same model about a year ago going for the same price. It's a brilliant 5 string so I imagine the 4 string is just as nice.
10.
It's just possible this could be my perfect bass... not quite the perfect timing sadly, but you can't have everything...
Join the club. Although if my guitar and bass sold soon, this might be too tempting.
11. Price drop bump. As low as I'll go.
12. Just a quick question, do the fanned frets make it more difficult to play chords?
13. Since joining Basschat, I found a teacher from here that has advanced my playing so quickly compared to my usual rate that I'm now confident enough to start playing with other people in quite a small amount of time. I also realise that the instrument doesn't make the player, but since buying a rather nice bass guitar (for a smaller amount than I had expected) I have been confident about playing on it as I know that any shortfalls are my own. I couldn't be more happier with the progress I've made since joining and the main reasons for my leap in ability have been down to Basschat.
14. I usually jam for a bit. Something simple like an A minor pentatonic up and down the neck.
15. Is this priced too highly? I'll happily take offers but it is in brand new condition! I'll also include a free Hercules fold-up floor stand and leather-ish suede strap if it sells this month.
16. Sister Sledge - We Are Family. Probably known to quite a few of you, but a funky bassline it is and I only found out recently.
17. Has nobody said Ibanez SR? I'm safe then...
18. Usually always got some sort of compression on (on my TC Electronic BH250). If not, it's usually a Tube Drive Toneprint.
19. I see a Ukelele strap and a bit of leather, what's the problem?
20.
I guess nothing can be done for non Facebook using members?
Unfortunately not. As I'm the one who's mostly responsible for Facebook, and the one who sourced the prizes, it was just my decision to put it on Facebook mainly as a thank you for the small buzz I get when someone replies to something I post. And you're missing out Shambo, the keyring is suh-weeeet!
