1. Wouldn't be unreasonable to ask for around £450-£500I don't think, but it'll take time to find a buyer I think. With it being a lefty, it'll take longer (although it should technically be harder to get a hold of) but because they're good basses, it'll be hopefully more sought at tear than most lefty basses.
2. Might be better off here...
3. I was in the same situation as you for a while, but I landed on the bass I have now (and the one that is for sale, see sig) because of the tight string spacing. For rock stuff it's great but for fast licks in metal music it's undoubtedly one of the best. I am going to replace this one I have now with a cheaper one, as I don't gig this and it's too good not to be played.
4. Maybe consider my Ibanez? Cash your way of course.
5. Lovely bass. If you'd ever want to trade for my guitar, let me know.
6.
good-luck-with-the-arm bump...
I'll second that surprised this hasn't sold yet.
7. I'm not a big fan of Fender's, so seeing a matching pair gives me a reason to enjoy them. Lovely!
8.
Weight and they sound a bit different I believe. If it wasnt for me already owning one of these I would have bought this one by now. Even travelling to Wolverhampton in a few weeks.
Well I'm a frequent visitor to Wolvs' Civic so this is equally as tempting...
9. What's the difference between this and the current K5 apart from, obviously, colour/finish?
10. I think his style is great, it fits with the genre. But I'd go as far as saying that his style is so unique and out of the box that it was probably too far out of reach to really inspire players to pick up the 5 string or even begin playing bass.
11. Man, what a wicked paint job! Tasteful and awesome at the same time, very rare you see that with a custom paint job..
12. Upload them to an image hosting website and post them here, for goodness sake we need to see this!
13.
Anyway, I've just subscribed again as their introductory offer is so good. Let's see how it goes.
Me too. First issue, first thing I noticed (as I hurridly flicked through it before going out to lunch) was the duplicate Fender review. Although I was mostly interested in the bit on Beller, so all's well. Although he does play Lull's basses, so I doubt he'd be too happy about this issue either...
14. I currently own a TC Electronic BH250, which has a D.I. out which I haven't used, as I currently don't play gigs. I've been offered an MXR Bass D.I.+ from work, but as I really don't know if it will be useful to me (as a user of virtually no pedals at all). (http://www.jimdunlop.com/product/m80-bass-di) Any light shedding would be great.
15.
When does the sale start???
As someone who manages a music shop that price matches with GAK I still hear that question on a daily basis around this time of year. And my reaction? ...' ' EDIT: And I totally forgot to mention, got my Black Basschat Polo with a little Silver Precision on it and man, what a quality top! Thanks!
16. Been tracking the progress of this for a while and have been very interested, especially as a musician who lives in Birmingham. I currently help manage a new music store in Sutton Coldfield and although I'm sure you have plans to get the word out, if you get any cards or adverts any time soon, send me a PM and I'll make sure I spread the word to anyone who sounds like they might be interested.
