1. Hi all, I just sold a jazz bridge to Patrick, and was completely hassle free. Great comms and fast payment, all thumbs up. Thanks mate!
2. I have wondered this myself, there doesn't really seen to be many good reviews on the gk stuff online. From what I have heard, the fusion still seem to have the classic GK sound, but with a slightly warmer sound.
3. Just the bass licks and Californication left!
4. Goddamnit!! I've just ordered one of these! They are pretty amazing, good luck with the sale!
5.
A brilliant drummer is like a unicorn's neigh. Bloody magic when you hear one.
Haha, that tickled me!!
6. In my limited playing experience I have been lucky enough to play with some ambsolutlely Belting drummers, and I hadn't notice before, but they all played fusion kits (one kick, one up and one down and a snare) so there might be something in that. Obviously keeping time is essential, but my current drummer, along chewing all the essential boxes, and bloody loud, his biggest attribute is that he is keenly aware if what the rest of us, and more importantly me (selfishly of coarse) are doing. If I'm watching the hats/ride and snare for my timing cues, he is burning a hole though where my right hand is and looking for my tells of what I'm going to do. He is more aware of my playing than I am, and helps to make us a great (IMHO) rhythm section. Also he is not a complete fruit and nut bar like Most of the drummers out there, so start with one you can have a laugh with and work on the rest!
7. Yes and yes! If you PM me your email and I'll send it over. The pic isn't great but it's the only one I have until I get home on the 7th
8. Away in Portugal but can still bump! Had some interest, but still available at the moment!
9. Hey everyone, I'm scaling back my effects as most of them aren't getting used in my current band and I'm tired if carrying a fully loaded pedal board about! Will supply pics shortly Black Russian Bug Muff: good condition for one of these, has a dc socket installed and surprisingly has the battery cover! Velcro on the bottom £65 MXR Smart Gate: good condition with a few mark SOLD MXR Blowtorch: Great overdrive pedal in good condition although one of the battery doors missing (typical dunlop plastic ones that always break!) I'll try the one off my 105q if it fits I'll throw it in. Will come with genuine dunlop 18v power supply so no more having to run two batteries! £60 SOLD EHX Bass Ball: this is one if the original big case USA model, awesome little envelope filter with a distortion switch to give additional grit. Has a DC socket fitter (conventional 2.1mm type) £40 Seymour Duncan Doubleback Compressor: excellent condition and a great little compressor. Good sustain without an overly squashed sound, also has the ability to mix the dry signal in which is a big bonus. £55 ON HOLD Any questions pleas ask, I'd say postage will be £5 for mainland UK. Thanks for looking.

16. Hey all up for sale is my beloved USA SUB Ray 5 in charcoal grey. For those of you who know what these are, they need no introduction. For those who don't, the USA SUB line was MM first attempt at an affordable stingray, they were built and assembled in the same factory in San Louis Obispo as all the USA Musicman instruments, but have less body work (eg no tummy contour, more of a slab body) and less attractive cuts of wood (so no translucent finishes) and finished in a textured poly paint on the body and semi gloss on the neck and headstock. They have all the same hardware and electronics as the USA Stingray and the build quality is excellent. DO NOT mistake this for the new sterling by MM S.U.B now made in the Far East, this is a far superior instrument. This one is near mint condition with only the slightest signs of use (obligatory headstock marks etc) and plays beautifully. I have seen plenty of 4 string versions of these go up for sale with big dings etc for around 400, so asking £475 for this one. Comes with hard case, wigan based. If funds were limitless, this would be going nowhere, but I need to move this on for another bass that will work better in my current band. Let me know!! I have had a couple of trade options already, but I am only interested in spector euro 4 or warwick streamer, so PLEASE don't tempt me with gorgeous basses!!!! PS: This bass weighs in at approx 5kg according to my bathroom scale.
